One Hundred-Third Collection
Inge and Dennis rented this beautiful vintage van. So I knew I wanted to do something artistic with it. After they had lunch in the van, I thought it could be nice to pretend it would be night and light up their faces with flashes and then we created this image. I love trying out new things especially when the result turns out to be pretty cool 😎 don’t you think?
It’s a steep walk back to Lauren and Henry’s wedding venue from the stunning cove below, so I left them to have a moment but managed to grab this just as I headed off.
What a beautiful atmospheric day. Even at the most important moment of the day, you were relaxed.
Thanks Renske & Tom
We had run out of time during reception drinks to get all of the photos of the couple and I knew I wanted to capture some sunset images for them, so with their permission I pulled them away from their wedding breakfast between main and desert to capture this and several other photos in a speedy 5 minutes before heading back in to finish their meal.
Getting ready. I think the getting ready of the groom is as important to capture then the the one of the bride... and I like to capture things with a different view:-)
“The greatest marriages are built on teamwork. A mutual respect, a healthy dose of admiration, and a never-ending portion of love and grace.”
The master of ceremonies provided a unique location for the couples shoot. The light on Axel Vervoordt's site is very photogenic and did not require additional lighting. Something that makes you very happy as a photographer.
A photo from the amazing Elopement shoot on Santorini, Greece.

Mirror on the wall...
It's so beautiful how brides check their make-up in the mirror, every look is so different. I love it.
This couple was very nature- and DIY-minded and I loved them for it. They had their wedding rings made out of wood and the bride even designed her own wedding dress, which was gorgeous. We went to a nearby park for their wedding photos and I saw this lake. Even though this park was a public area, we found a quiet spot. The water didn't move and reflected the sky beautifully.
What a beautiful place! Getting the car on that spot, was a quite a thing.
Anyway, you have to put in some effort to get the perfect photo!
Early morning - sunrise at Copenhagen
Irene & Roberto chose for their elopement this vibrant city in Denmark. We had a stunning time at the beach side, where they arrived with the vintage caravan of Robert's parents, since they planned to travel further on after the elopement...
Shaunagh & Gavin. I was so pleased to have been a small part of this super fun wedding, surprises around every corner. I really enjoyed creating these off camera flash image using Shaunagh & Gavin's guests to get test shots before asking the couple to come out. We all had such a laugh!!
The Greek wedding - kids running around our feet but our gorgeous Bride Melina stayed calm throughout
We had such a lovely day with this nice couple. The photoshoot at the golf course resulted in a car chase of three golf carts with me in one of the carts filming and my second shooter / girlfriend Karlijn in the other one to take pictures. A great shot and nice memory of good times!
After the more formal group photos, I always like to get the couple's close friends together for fun group photos. It's a great way for everyone to show their personalities and have fun in front of the camera.
Sara & Paul liked the idea of revisiting, on their wedding day, the location for their first date. After a recce previously I suggested the quieter end of the walk where we could utilise the gorgeous autumnal canopy.
