About Carolina

Hi, I'm Carolina Mosquera, Located in the beautiful romantic city of Bruges i fell in love with photography. So i decided to open a photography studio which is called Lux Visual Storytellers, that is serving all over the world... My photos are taken in a spontaneous way, i love to visualise the connection between the couple in a beautiful and honest way. We also love the little details that make the day, rings / flowers / table setting / snacks and drinks… And of course we should not forget the uncles who take a nap on the sofa, or the kids who make a celebration funny, love them!

Blue skies. A great couple and the city of Rotterdam! What more can a wedding photographer ask for?! Thank you S&L, it was great!
Architecture can be so beautiful! We parked in a parking garage where this amazing staircase was...and this staircase looked great from both sides...so we had some fun here and took this 007 picture :)
During this photo shoot we came across this square in Breda. Lots of buildings and noise in the background but from a higher point of view we could make it more interesting...happy with the result :)
For this pre wedding shoot we started out in the woods.The light was amazing.Love to play around with some front or background blur...
I always try to play with light. This day the sun was so bright...but in the doorway of a shed it looks just a bit different. This nice couple with their fun finished it off.
Children at a wedding. Casual and thoughtless sincerity in every move. I keep them in my log corners all the time. I thought this moment during the toast was so funny. Cheers!
I always think it's important that the bridal couples are comfortable. For this kind of photos I'm so close but this can only be done after they have actually forgotten that they are being photographed ;)

Some images are just meant to happen, and not all days are created equally, so it was on this beautiful day I decided to do something different: to not only focus on the story between Him and Her, but to capture the contrast between the stark sky and the groom and groomsmen, in themselves contrasted by the bride.
Drone shots really emit another perspective onto most ordinary views, leaving them extraordinary when shot from above. The play of shadow and light is the extra sauce on the amazing view the shot had.
Bridal mornings are hectic, full of emotions, and jam-packed with stuff to do. But amidst it all, I enjoy portraying the simple moments that make up for a full day of joy.
The lightning in this composition matched perfectly on the warm and bright wedding theme. Even in the most epic places, nothing beats perfect light ...

Estos momentos tan expontáneos duran milesimas de segundo y Álvaro de la Corte los consigue gracias a estar todo el rato con su camara preparada.
Las fotos nocturnas nos encantan y más si son hechas el día de la boda. Recordamos esta boda perfectamente ya que fue unos días antes de Navidad. :)
Viajar a New York para realizar bodas fue una experiencia mágica. El puente de brooklyn es un lugar increible para tomar una sesión de fotos.
Nos encanta el agua para las fotos y esta fuente nos ayudo a conseguir una foto diferente con los novios en el día de su boda. <br /> Fotos para el recuerdo.
Que en una foto sea de día y de noche en un mismo momento, eso conseguimos con estos novios en su boda. ¿ Que color pondrías a tu foto?
Realizar pre-bodas por Europa con Álvaro de la Corte, es algo que cada año realizan muchas parejas, tendréis fotos diferentes y especiales para toda la vida.
Los días nublados y con nubes pomposas son algo diferente para realizar una sesión de fotos. El agua y sus reflejos nos encanta para una foto.
¿Que perdura después de una boda? Los anillos, fotos y vídeos de ese día. ¿Porque no juntar anillos y fotos en una misma imagen? Novios dentro de sus alianzas.
La Fontana de Trevi y las calles de Roma son un lugar diferente para realizar una pre-boda o post-boda que recordaréis para toda la vida.
Nos encanta esperarar tras el objetivo de la cámara para pillar momentos así. Las tres hermanas dandose el zapato y la madre llorando de emoción.

This beautiful ceremony had a central role for their two kids. The parents and the kids had a really strong and loving bond, which showed clearly throughout the entire day.
This awesome couple choose a nice location with many plants and this colorful wall for our photoshoot. When I saw the strong contrast between the wall and the green plants I immediately knew I wanted to incorporate it in the shot :)
This gay couple had the most beautiful sunset wedding on the beach, while one their friends played and sang a song for them. The overal atmosphere was absolutely amazing and I was really happy with how this image capture that entire ceremony.
This couple got married in a church with a big curtain at the rear. Just after the ceremony we had a few minutes for some portraits and this idea came to mind. I am really happy with how it came out and I am glad that the couple was really fond of it also.
As part of the pre-wedding shoot we spent the last hour before sunset at the beach. We took many lovely shots and this one that ended up as a favorite.
At the end of the wedding day when the sky turned dark and cloudy we used the nice backdrop with the iconic landmark, the Euromast, of the city of Rotterdam for this shoot.
Sometimes the light hits just right for some nice posed shots. I love how in this shot the light hits the veil of the bride as well as both their faces.

A moment of reflection! Couple's portraits at sunset always go down well. This image of Suzanne & James was the last before we headed back to the venue. I just love the relaxing, tranquil vibe of this image. Venue - Old Hall Ely.
This was my first wedding back after lockdown and man did it feel great being back amongst the love and laughter! One good thing about a smaller, intimate wedding is that you have more time to explore with the couple, so we did just that and we struck gold! Anna & Dan, it was a pleasure.
Blue skies & bubbles, yes please. Great fun at Normanton Church with Bec & Tom. This was one of those days when everything just feel into place seamlessly.
I've just discovered smoke bombs, and now it seems I can't get enough of them. Sunset strolls around Rutland Water with Bec & Tom, what a beautiful couple inside & out.
Jess & Owen were a dream to work with! I loved the composition in-between the columns & wisteria, I added a smoke bomb for a little drama, then let them to get tangled up in love <br /> Venue - Bedford Lodge Newmarket.

If you get married in the Corona period, then please with sunshine. And the two deserve it; they already had to postpone their wedding due to Corona. Monica is pregnant and the weather was kind to both of them at the last possible appointment before the birth.
Rings as a sign of infinity always have a special meaning on the wedding day. This small and yet so important item simply deserves to be shown in the right light. I love the wedding photographer's ability to free up the time for a close inspection.
It is these special moments that can tell a story without many words - depending on the viewer's imagination. I'll keep the real story to myself - it's much more exciting that way. And don't worry - they are still alive.
The most beautiful pictures are created when the bride and groom do not even know that they are being photographed. Like this couple in a tropical setting of Indonesia. This is the meaning of wedding reportage.
When I was allowed to photograph these two cuties on their day, all the weather forecasts were on the storm. We nevertheless went to a nearby, completely muddy field and used the very few sun rays of the day. The two were so in love and proud of each other and that is exactly the message of this picture.
In spring, Germany is characterized by endless expanses of rapeseed fields. What could be better than recording intimate moments for two with a drone in such a field?! I love it...
Sometimes it’s the little things that deserve some attention. Without wanting to advertise, but the shoes had to be the shoes for the bride.<br /> <br /> And the bride didn't want to take her eyes off the rings either. So what could be more natural than to immortalize these two important things in one picture?
You could say: kissed by the sun.<br /> What more could you want for your wedding? Fantastic weather, a great location and then the pregnant woman still fits her wedding dress ;-) the ball grew noticeably.<br /> <br /> That‘why i really love my job - being part of such fantastic moments.
It means that the most beautiful wedding photos are taken at sunset. I say the weather doesn't matter. These are the special moments that make a photo special...
Take off into the clouds with happiness.<br /> The friends had no mercy on the bridegroom and made him look frighteningly high. Sometimes I also got scared because the "safety net" was very sketchy. But we all survived and ist was definitely a lot of fun.
