One Hundred and Thirtieth Collection
There is a timeless charm and romance connected to old trains and historic railway stations. Throughout the many wedding stories we’ve had the pleasure of capturing, we’ve often found ourselves returning to these nostalgic places; usually because the couple had some personal connection to the railway in their lives or love story.
For this sweet couple, S & S, that wasn’t the case at all. While searching for an out-of-the-box location near their wedding venue, they were drawn to the enchanting atmosphere of the old VSM railway grounds, where dozens of vintage locomotives and carriages still rest in quiet beauty. The character and history of the place immediately spoke to them.
This intimate moment inside one of the classic carriages feels truly timeless. Choosing black and white only enhances that feeling. The symbolism of connection, the romance of bygone days, and the calm closeness of this lovely couple all come together in this single frame. A scene where past and present gently meet.
RACHAEL & MARK
Yes they did have the most gorgeous Autumnal golden hour and yes we took a heap of photos! Elsham Hall is always the most perfect backdrop at this time of year.
On the edge of a glassy Dolomite lake, they reach for each other with lanterns glowing softly in their hands. Reflections blur sky and stone, turning dusk into a dreamlike celebration of love.
When kids can't wait to taste all cakes from the sweet table. I love having kids on the wedding, emotions are always so real and expressions are priceless.
Thank you for awarding this image with a Wedisson Award.
An unscripted dip right after walking out of the church. No cues, no prompts, just instinct and joy.
Moments like this last less than a second, but they are the ones that tell the whole story.
Captured exactly how real love looks. Tender, joyful, and full of life.
Bryony & Paulo really wanted to have a photo in this forest alley. We were so lucky to have this beautiful sunlight at that exact moment to add a bit of magic to the picture.
Een doorkijkje tussen de poort van de Oude Kerk in Dongen, waar ik de liefde van Bryan & Lynn mocht vastleggen!
Soft window light, an empty industrial hall and a veil caught in motion. Just the two of them, quiet and fully present in the moment.
Love is something you can’t describe, like the look of a rose, the smell of the rain, or the feeling of forever - Iceland Fields Elopment
Royle Forest Weddings with Kate and Jo on a very rainy morning! No matter, when you have cool toiets like these, have a seat!
Taken at sunset, where a narrow break in the trees opened just enough light.
I stepped back and let the moment unfold naturally.
CHLOÉ & EMILIE
These beautiful souls enjoyed their special day within the stunning city surrounds of York. After a Shambles walkabout, we headed back for them to join all their loved ones, to be greeted with most gorgeous, and happiest, of confetti walks.
Luckily, it stayed dry for a brief moment during the wedding photoshoot of this lovely couple, allowing us to capture this photo in the colorful garden.
As the ceremony ends, they lean into their first kiss as newlyweds, laughter still in the air. Behind them, the Dolomites rise quietly, vast and timeless, as if pausing to honor the moment.
LUKE & ELLIE
The happiness and love in this photo is infectious! Their first dance together shall be one I shall remember for a long time to come. Their wedding day backdrop was at the stunningly beautiful Hodsock Priory.
