Ninety-Fourth Collection

The children of the bride and groom are a little bored during the religious ceremony in the Cathedral of Laeken, where the kings of Belgium are buried. This moment had to be immortalised!

This image was taken in the hustle and bustle before the bride left for her wedding ceremony. The lovely bride is in her best appearance. The use of a small prism was made to add that extra touch of reflection.

This wedding was one of the first of my wedding season in 2022. I’m obsessed with these perfect flowers and look at the colors! It just looks so romantic and what a wonderful couple!

The beautiful bride and groom Danja en Berry posing for me in Slot Zeist. The high window in the background made this shot even more dramatic with the stunning backlight from the golden midday sun.

This image was taken a while ago and remains a classic one. There was a corridor alley with multiple entrances. I placed the bride and flowergirls next to one entrance so they were in the daylight. The inside of the alley remained dark and I could take this image!

It was starting to get dark at Elizabeth and Chris’ winter wedding at the stunning Donington Park Farmhouse. I lit the couple with flash to highlight them against the rolling Derbyshire scenery.

This photograph was taken in the break between dinner and the first dance. I scouted out the location in the grounds of The Maryborough Hotel in Cork, Ireland and I felt that the two trees would make a good frame for my couple. I had one flash behind them and another one at a lower power in front. after a few test shots, I got the levels right and the photograph was done.

Fun Fun Fun at the wedding and fair for Abigail as she enjoyed her day after an amazing wedding with Taran at Aston Hall in sheffield. This was one of those shots you really pray comes off and it did!

It was a wonderful wedding rounded off by a creative shooting. I love using smoke grenades. It gives the picture a very special look.

There is something about old castles, love and a lovely couple. And I just absolutely love it when love shows it's passion in front of a castle!

Nestled on the edge of a cliff looking out to the north sea, Ravenhall's scenery is second to none. On this particular day the low lying cloud was rolling down the hills towards the sea... Beam & Jake just strolled towards me without a care in the world and all I had to do was take the picture.

What a dream it was ! An epic day adventuring in iceland. It doesnt get much better then that. Here we are with kvernufoss in the background and a lovely couple in the front.

When the guests are having fun, when nothing is planned, you just have to be there at the right time to immortalize this moment which will remain a good memory.

In Switzerland we have many breath taking sceneries. And this is one of them. Eloping in the mountains, I think is one thing I would do, if I would get married to my hubby again;-)

Simon and Matthias are a fantastic couple, their wedding weekend in Saint-Tropez was perfect in every detail. We took their couple photos both downtown and at their wedding venue. When I took this picture I was impressed by the trees there, I was very happy with the result.

First time shooting wedding photos in a museum, i mostly do nature and outdoors so this was such a cool challenge and the couple loved it :)

It was a cold day in winter. The bride had the idea for the children to hold this for the image. The children didn't like it at all.

We were just about to start the shoot. But the groom had forgotten something. Quickly he ran to the car. Meanwhile, I remained waiting with the bride. I saw her beaming as she waited for her husband. But I also saw the clouds closing over the castle. That was one of those moments when the image flashed before my eyes and I had to work it out.
Since that moment, I always take individual portraits at weddings.

For this picture I jumped in the bushes and gave the couple an assignment: 'whisper your favourite snack in each others ear, but in the most sexiest way'. It was hilarious!

The Shillong skies were a treat to the eyes and among the lush, green beauty, a memory was
born. A beautiful Varsha held Vikram's hands tight as he jumped in the air with joy.

There were a few shots of the bride and her father walking down these stairs but this one is my favourite. The way he is looking at her when there is so much going on downstairs. So many different thoughts going through both their minds. I don't think he could have been any prouder than in that moment.

As a photographer, I am always happy when a couple is pleasantly surprised with the photos afterwards. This location was actually rather boring and did not immediately seem to offer options for the couple. As a photographer, however, I saw the possibilities of the grass and I lay on my stomach. The couple later used this photo on the cover of their wedding album...

IntimacyWarriors Paul en Laura, in prachtige jurk van De Bruidszaak, hadden hun weddingshoot bovenop de oranje toren van Hoogtij in Amsterdam. Laura had onderweg naar boven wat last van hoogtevrees maar toen haar ridder op het witte paard Paul, gehuld in een zeer stijlvol Schultz Mannenmode kostuum, daar boven haar in zijn armen opving was alle angst snel vergeten en hadden ze samen de grootste lol. Vanaf de toren hadden ze een spectaculair uitzicht op het IJ, al geloof ik dat ze meer oog voor elkaar hadden. Voor mij als fotograaf was dit natuurlijk een prachtig moment om vast te leggen. En ondanks dat het behoorlijk waaide bleef Laura's kapsel en make-up die vakkundig door MJ's Haar & Visagie gedaan waren perfect zitten. Deze bruid kon niet gelukkiger zijn.

It's been a joy working with these two and being able to capture their amazing story.
