Ninety-Second Collection

This one is by far my favorite picture of 2022! During the whole ceremony I noticed that the officiant seems to be a really cool guy. Just after the couples kiss, he mentioned to the audience, that he wants to something that "he does at almost every wedding". He grabs out his phone and was taking a classic selfie of himself with the kissing couple in the backround. Luckily I was standing at the right position to get this amazing moment.

I just loved how this natural portrait of Lauren looked with a vintage black and white film edit - the stripes are really emphasised. Lauren and Adam got married at Oak Farm in Staffordshire.

This bridal couple had the entire wedding on their own land, it was amazing. And when we saw that a piece of land was full of beautiful yellow flowers, we took some pictures here. This photo is one of them

I had spotted this ridge earlier in the day and liked how was framed by the trees on either side. I thought the clean background of the sky would make for a good walking shot. The couple had a real sense of fun and although it's a wide shot, you can still feel their connection.

The photograph features a couple who were married on the island of Gozo, during a beautiful sunset. The setting and lighting create a romantic and striking image, with the couple's silhouettes standing out against the glowing sunset in the background. The photograph may have been taken just after the wedding ceremony, adding to the sentimental value of the image.

Alex and Sarah enjoying some quite time on the bridge out back. The sun was setting like I’ve never seen before! I was able to snatch up the bride and groom and whisk them into a fairytale setting.

Again, simplicity. Sometimes it is all you need. After the ceremony and reception, I took the bride and groom for a short photography break. With this moment, I wanted to create a moment for the bride and groom to breathe during an exciting day. And this place was perfect for that: A nice old tree-swing to sit on with a stunning view, and eachother. That's what I love to capture mostly. I love how the simplicity enhances the connection between the bride and groom.

Sometimes you just need simplicity. I wanted to create a moment for the bride and groom to just enjoy each other’s company before the ceremony started! You can feel her love just by looking at her face in this picture.

Finally I had the chance to shoot in this stunning location, a very old monastery hallway with large windows. I love the gothic architecture and how the light also forms the shadows. The light is from a flash on the other side of the window, mimicking the sun. Together with the stunning bride and her pose this is one of my favorite images.

We just love beautiful bright colors in our wedding portraits. This beautiful sky and the gorgeous couple really pop, we used a little flash to keep the vibrant blue of the sky.

The couple had a beautiful intimate wedding on the Ilse of Skye in Scotland.

With amazing scenery like this it's almost cheating!

This photograph was taken on a headland overlooking the sea at Inchydoney, in West Cork, Ireland. The couple are pretty sporty and the groom + his party had already been for a swim in the Atlantic earlier that day. We had done some more static shots and then I asked the groom if he could lift his bride up for a more dramatic shot. I went low to capture her against the sky and I added some fill in flash at +3 power so that I could get some detail in the sky.

After getting married in the city hall in Landsmeer Alperen and Fagria took me to their special place called het Twiske, this is an extraordinary nature reserve in The Netherlands. We walked for about 30 minutes to get to the spot with this windmill and it was absolutely worth it. It gave me a sereen feeling, the beautiful couple, water clashing, the wind blowing and the stunning views of nature.

This Photograph was taken looking over The wirral peninsula at a Leasowe Castle wedding. It was such a still evening and we were blessed with a lovely sunset. I will always love photographing couples at Sunset.

Taken at Anglesey's popular venue Henblas when Faye married Mark. The sun had set and the mist came down. Off we went to the fairy lit wood. I was delighted that Faye's brother offered to hold my flash which enabled me to capture this shot.

Being a photographer in the UK means that the weather changes from minute to minute ! This image was captured in a short period of the day when suddenly the wind was wild! I would often borrow someone to flick the veil to get a similar shot but it was nice to capture it naturally

Taken at the beautiful Crathorne Hall Hotel. A late autumn wedding meant minimal daylight for outside portraits. This staircase and chandelier provided the perfect opportunity to expose for the highlights and add a soft box on Katie and Chris.

Moments like this are my all-time favourite, the natural, unscripted little nuggets that only happen when you are really looking and observing everyone around you.

How perfect is it to have a nice walk along the beach on a hot day when you just got married? A nice relaxing moment that I could capture.

It's just golden hour, a little breeze and we needed to go to the join the wedding guests.

It's always fun cutting that cake

Just before I go home, I went into the woods with the bridal couple. It was already getting dark, but that determined the atmosphere of this photo

Wow wat een heerlijke dag was dit!

De dag begon in de binnenstad in Delft en later op de dag gingen we richting Scheveningen.

De fotoshoot hadden we al gehad, maar tijdens het feest kwam het welbekende gouden uurtje.
Het prachtige spontane bruidspaar nog even mee genomen het strand op om nog even wat foto’s te maken. En als daar dan dit soort plaatjes uit komen is toch fantastisch?!

A warm but very windy late summer wedding. The whole weddingday was a complete bliss to be part of, with the beautiful scenery and a lot of love and happiness floating in the air.

This photo was shot in an old garage, with the strong light hitting from above. I added a reflexion by holding a prism in front of the lens.

While we were hiking for a new place to take some photos, we came across this spot. The autumn colours made a beautiful bouquet.

I asked for a moment to stop whereupon they seized the moment, looked at the nature around them and then flowed together.

When nature embraces love and vice versa.

As we saw the tree was lit beautifully with a gardenlight at the bottom, this moment was just perfect tot have 2 minutes of intimacy and relaxation before the first dance.

Sometimes the timing just hits just right! Reflections can be tricky to shoot through but with the correct lighting you can get some lovely candid shots. This one is the arrival of the Bride getting ready to meet her Husband to be!
