One Hundred and Eighteenth Collection

The bride expressed her desire for a photograph that would capture all her closest friends in a fun yet stylish manner. Inspired by an image I once saw in a magazine, I used it as a starting point for this shoot. By making a few adjustments to the lighting, selecting the perfect location, and capturing the right emotions, we created a photo that captured the essence of her vision.

I was in The Hague at the beach and in between we got time for some couple shooting before the wedding. I loved this "hut" , together with the bold light ( 12 o clock ) and of course this handsome couple, who make its all complete :)

A quiet dance on the hilltop as the sun sets—simple, natural, and one of those 'wow' moments you can't plan, but just happen.

Dancing in this empty loft area where these two got married just hours before is so special! Perfect Edison glow that gives this photo such a artistic vibe!

A perfect day captured on a scenic bridge, where love and nature meet in harmony. The couple stands hand in hand, radiating joy as they embrace the beauty of this unforgettable moment.

I love this location in West Cork and I use it when I can. This time we had a big wedding party, so I backlit them with a flash to create some drama and to illuminate the trees behind them.

Simplicity can be beautiful! No exotic destinations for this couple, just a nearby park and a white umbrella. Beauty is everywhere, it is up to us as photographers to capture it.

When everyone has left the room. Just one last check in the mirror and apply your own final touches.

This photo captures a bride and groom on their wedding day, surrounded by beautiful blooming pink rhododendrons. The setting is romantic and enchanting, with the lush greenery and flowers framing the couple, creating a warm and loving atmosphere.

When 2 people come together and the energy is amazing.. you have so much fun taking idea's to a new level.

Some moments aren’t planned—they just reveal themselves. As we walked past this beautiful setting, I saw the magic unfold before my eyes. The soft rain, the vibrant blooms, and the undeniable connection between this couple created something truly special. I instinctively reached for my camera and captured what I can only describe as pure love.

Formal pose captured with just one large soft box placed in front and above the couple. I then took a 'plate' shot without the softbox and assistant to give me an unobstructed view of the background. I then created a composite in Photoshop to brush out the unwanted elements before fine tuning the final image.

Even cloudy skies can be very pretty when reflected. This couple was brave enough to withstand the freezing cold in The Netherlands to take some amazing shots. I love some creativity.
Thank you for awarding this photo!

The most precious moment between Faye and her loving father. Freezing moments in time like this is unmatched and why I love wedding photography so much. What an honour to be able to do this for people.

A pre-wedding shoot at a special location, with an airplane in the background—adventures just around the corner.
