During this Christmas photoshoot, the trees were almost out of leaves, so I used the few that were left to shoot through. With that, I gave some playful direction to bring extra life and movement into the moment.

Inspired by an image I once saw in a magazine, I used it as a starting point for this shoot. By making a few adjustments to the lighting, selecting the perfect location, and capturing the right emotions, we created a photo that captured the essence of her vision.

"The rain poured relentlessly"
As we reached the scheduled time for the foto session, I envisioned a captivating scene: using a flash in an umbrella to capture the couple amidst raindrops against a black background.
However, I felt the image lacked context. By adding an extra flash behind the couple, I was able to illuminate the surroundings, enhancing the photo with the depth and atmosphere that made it award-winning. This experience taught me the power of creativity and adaptability in photography, turning challenges into beautiful opportunities.
