I started in photography 36+ years ago, using film, at the age of 16.
At 19 I documented my first wedding with my father, who used to be a wedding photographer for living when I was a small child. He taught me all the basics of photography, all that I needed to know. Still gratefull for that knowledge that he passed on to me.
Now I only work digital ways. All of my works are handmade and edited by me. From the first shot to high end.
I never outsource my works and I never will. The main reason is to protect the privacy of my clients.

I am a mother of 3, I am married to my best friend and my job as a fulltime photographer is my obessesion and passion for life. I love freezing precious moments in time. And make the invisible a touchable memory.

I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. That is why I document not only weddings, but from birth till memorials. All the emotional moments of life, which can be a priceless legacy for the next negeration.

Be more than welcome to jump on my playground:

My clients:
“Li, we’re not models, and we don’t really know how to pose. It would be great if you could guide us a bit — so we don’t look awkward in front of the camera.”

“No problem,” I said. “Let me take care of that…”

The father of the bride, had been in a terrible car accident five years before the wedding, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down.
But when he heard that his youngest daughter was getting married, he decided to work tirelessly on his mobility.
For four long years, he trained so that he could walk his daughter down the aisle.
And he kept his promise — he managed to walk for five minutes, just long enough to accompany her to her new husband.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the church that day

While her newly husband was getting tossed up in the air, she was laughing.
But the groomsmen made sure she kept her vow:

"In good times and in bad, we’ll share everything!"

I had a shot in mind and shared the idea with my clients. Then he said he’d arrange for a boom lift, since he was a fire department commander and could make that happen. I’m actually afraid of heights, very afraid, but I had to take the shot—after all, I’d said I would. And here’s the result.

My client wanted something unique. So I got her what she wished for.

When several guests asked if there would be a bouquet toss. I joked and said: "Let toss the bride."
And so they did....
