One Hundred and Eighteenth Collection

On this day, my parents-in-laws celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, and we recreated their wedding photos in the same setting and at the same location. This resulted in truly unique images, like this one, which says it all—joy, love, and a beautiful setting to capture the same photo for them, 40 years later.

A striking black-and-white capture of a couple embracing at Katwijk aan Zee, set against dramatic clouds and the endless sea. The windswept atmosphere adds a sense of movement and raw emotion, perfectly framing their intimate moment amidst nature's grandeur.

As a photographer, capturing moments like this at St. Paul’s Cathedral is truly special. The couple stands elegantly on the cathedral's iconic stone steps, framed perfectly by the towering classical columns and grand wooden doors. The bride’s lace-detailed white gown catches the light beautifully, adding a soft, romantic texture against the imposing architecture.

"The rain poured relentlessly"
As we reached the scheduled time for the foto session, I envisioned a captivating scene: using a flash in an umbrella to capture the couple amidst raindrops against a black background.
However, I felt the image lacked context. By adding an extra flash behind the couple, I was able to illuminate the surroundings, enhancing the photo with the depth and atmosphere that made it award-winning. This experience taught me the power of creativity and adaptability in photography, turning challenges into beautiful opportunities.

When you are in the neighbourhood of the beach of Scheveningen, The Hague, its a pitty not to shoot there :)

The groom lifting his bride, both laughing, completely in the moment. Perfect golden hour, perfect vibes.

A magical moment captured in golden hour, two souls standing together in a vast field, surrounded by nature’s beauty, as the warm glow of the sunset embraces them. A love as timeless as the setting sun.

So much love in the freezing cold. You don't need much for a stunning photoshoot on your wedding day.

During golden hour (1 hour before sunset) we always take the most beautiful pictures. The bride and groom also have a little intimate moment during the dinner/party to relax and take it all in!

What els can make me more happy than a just married couple leaving the ceremony with such a gesture. "Put your hands up in the air"

Golden hour just hits different! This couple had the most amazing sunset moment—nothing forced, just them soaking it all in.

Nothing to see here folks.....okay, just kidding. This couple was so awesome when I asked them to get in the water and frolic around like little kids in love.
