For this great guy who bashes the gym on a daily base the wedding shoot was something to look up to. "I don't like to be in photographs", he said. By connecting the dots between his hobby and his challenging remark a nice romantic shot like this was the result. The scenery is a typical Dutch dune & heather park that can be found here and there in The Netherlands.

As the sun casts its golden glow over the ancient rocks of Meteora, this couple embraces amidst the surreal landscape. The majestic rock formations create a breathtaking backdrop, symbolizing the enduring strength and beauty of their union, perfectly captured during their intimate elopement in Greece.

This shot was actually shot at the end of the ceremony while leaving the scene. The master of ceremony who just wedded the couple is giving a consenting last look. The venue is an not widely known, tiny church in Amersfoort NL.

It was the landscape in the background that caught my eye first. I asked the couple if they would be up for climbing up the old spiral staircase and they did. The Bride dress fell perfectly down the stairs. I just liked it was a little different.

But turning the shutterspeed wheel, I decided to add some light after all.

I'd love to take pictures at the making ready, you can feel the peace and the excitement in the same time.

The mother of the groom wanted te last butten of the shirt close, but there wasn't much space left. The groom had a little wound precisely on the spot of the button and it came between the button and the wound. So that is the expression of much pain.

On my nephew's wedding day at the picturesque Netherbyres House in Eyemouth, Scotland, I had the honor of capturing a truly special moment. After a rainy day we had the chance (and luck!) to get some beautiful sunset vibes. During diner the sky opened and the staff of this location drove us with their golf cars out to the spot, we caught the (short) sunset. Thanks to the couple, which was very spontaneous and the staff, for their help to get us out their in time!
