My first time out at Peckforton Castle, along with my first composite image, the softbox lighting each person individually then bringing it altogether in photoshop which gives such a dramatic effect.

Rain on your wedding day. Even in rain you can have a beautiful wedding shoot

Alles gaat snel en als fotograaf heb je maar enkele kansen voor het goede shot.

It's always fun when the bride throws her flowers and it's exciting to see who will catch them. Everything moves fast and as a photographer you only have a few chances for the right shot.

On a perfect spring day, we had the opportunity to photograph the couple on skis.
It was great fun to follow their tracks.

Kimberley & Ryan asked for their pre wedding shoot to be held at the beautiful Chester Groves, a riverside location with little ice cream huts, a bandstand and rowing boats. There is also the Queens Park Bridge crossing the river over to Handbridge. I saw the opportunity to use the drone to capture this image.

I love doing night shots, especially in winter months. you can never have enough sparkle :)

After dinner, a brief photoshoot as the light beautifully filters through the trees. The bridal couple takes a moment for themselves.

We wanted to take this photo because it’s typical for the Dutch to ride a bike, but it’s less common to use a bike on your wedding day. My second shooter Karlijn made this picture while I focused on filming the wedding day as well!

These 2 special people got married at the city hall of Enschede. There is a beautiful stairs, with a white background. I head this idea for quite some time and tis couple was willing to try it out. I'm so in love with the end result!

This was a spring shoot in a beautiful park. This couple was just engaged, is going to marry next year.

On most weddings we try to make a special shot with flashes. In the cellar of the castle we took this shot. We prepare the shot, call the bridal couple, take a few shots and let them party again.

Rainy night in Wales but finally alone.
Shot with speedlights onto entrance, backlighting couple and a handheld main light above the couple that was later brushed out of the image.

This lovely couple got married in winter at the beautiful Hotel V in Amsterdam, and I took this photo when they sneaked away for a moment together.
