Karen & Shane's wedding in dingle, an epic scenic location in the heart of dingle. We created many amazing images this day. But on arriving back to this pup where the reception was to take place. I noticed many people on the busy sidewalk. This was taken at around 4pm in the day. And the sun was still high in the sky. It was taken hand-held . I had 3 tries at this image and was thrilled with the outcome...
The photo location was a castle and we were quite early in the morning to get there for the photoshoot. It was a bit foggy and there was a small road that leads to the castle. The couple drove in front of me and I saw this image in my head already. So I stopped, gave the couple instructions to wave and drive slowly forward. The couple and I are still very happy with this final image!
Fun wedding held in Lincolnshire, UK. At the time of taking this photo everyone was in good spirits, out came the dance moves and the slippers!
My second award from Olivia and Darragh's wedding at Waterford Castle, Ireland. I wanted a moody theme for this one, shooting it slightly under exposed and popping off a white smoke bomb behind them for that extra effect. Love this shot!
At Wood Norton Wedding Venue in Worcester UK there is an awesome tree swing which is just perfect for nice photographs of newly married couples. In this phot I went for a more fun photo with the bride and her bridesmaids pushing her eon the swing!
Great way to ending with all smile while having smoke bomb, weather was winter but never fail for them still out and enjoying every min.
Large windows and long curtains always attracts my attention when I am on location. This time I was lucky I found one and placed the bride in front of it. The back of her dress was created beautifully with a lace design and I wanted an image that showed this. I asked her to move the curtains a bit and this is the result!
Under the eiffel tower this beautiful couple took there moment for a small dance. We put on some music and everyone around us, started also with dancing!
Rachel and Kenneth taking a minute to themselves after sneaking to a little pathway leading to the beautiful cliffs in Ballycotton, Co. Cork. Ireland.
Lynsey, had this amazing veil for her wedding. It was too heavy to be able to throw up or create the swooping veil style image. So while the bridesmaid were fixing the veil into place for another image i had in mind, i quickly took this image and was delighted with the outcome when i loaded it into lightroom.
Basically, getting ready is one of the most beautiful moments during a wedding. The transformation into a beautiful bride, with a professional make-up and a great hairstyle and of course the wonderful wedding dress, is unique. The moment when the dress is closed in the last step and thus the transformation is visually completed is always magical. I really enjoy and love this special moment.
This was such a great wedding, Samantha & Lucas where up for having a laugh, so we cracked a bottle and gave it a shake!!
Venue - Sibson Inn
As soon as I walked into this old hanger I knew it would make for an epic shot with my couple.
A simple backlight helped give the couple the pop of separation from the rest of the scene.
Every morning before sunset, hundreds of hot air balloons go up in Cappadocia (Turkey). This scenery really felt like a fairytale!
Áine & Patrick were a dream couple to work with - I attended school with Patrick and when asked to be their photographer I was excited just to be part of their day, having won this award it really has made this wedding extra special!
The mini was restored by the groom so we wanted in to include it somehow into their story. As the couple went for a walk it made sense in the moment to shoot through the windows into the distance as they walked into a sweet spot where they could be seen.
Katie and Matthew, two people clearly in love and they made it easy for me to capture moments like this. The wedding was held in York, North Yorkshire.
This was the best bride ever! We had so much fun on their wedding. It was a great venue, great weather and great people. She went for this without hasitating.
This bride and groom pulled off all the stops at their wedding and finished an incredible day with a fireworks display for all their guests, which gave me an excellent opportunity to get them a cool night portrait. Photographing fireworks is never easy, but I'm pleased with this particular burst and how I lit the couple.
