Eighty-Sixth Collection
A wonderful Jewish wedding that was lucky enough to have tall ceilings! Moments like this happen fast but we were ready, shoulder to shoulder with the crowd and armed with a 16mm the moment of freefall was captured perfectly.
Cappadocia is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, this shot is taken with sundown above the Red Valley. I loved the passion of this beautiful couple!
One of two awards taken at the beautiful Waterford Castle, Ireland. Olivia and Darragh were just a photographer's dream to work with it. Such a stunning location and amazing day!
Katie and Matthew, two people clearly in love and they made it easy for me to capture moments like this. The wedding was held in York, North Yorkshire.
Lynsey, had this amazing veil for her wedding. It was too heavy to be able to throw up or create the swooping veil style image. So while the bridesmaid were fixing the veil into place for another image i had in mind, i quickly took this image and was delighted with the outcome when i loaded it into lightroom.
Large windows and long curtains always attracts my attention when I am on location. This time I was lucky I found one and placed the bride in front of it. The back of her dress was created beautifully with a lace design and I wanted an image that showed this. I asked her to move the curtains a bit and this is the result!
This tree-lined woodland path was screaming for autumnal vibes! This image happened to be the couple's favourite shot from their wedding day.
Bride Kaylee isn't just sweet and gorgeous, but she is also the absolute best at doing the dramatic poses. And when you're in a location like this, you just have to bring the drama! I guess we succeeded:)
Áine & Patrick were a dream couple to work with - I attended school with Patrick and when asked to be their photographer I was excited just to be part of their day, having won this award it really has made this wedding extra special!
This was a sunset in Red Valley (Kızılçukur Valley) in Cappadocia (Turkey) - just fell in love with the light, the couple and the scenery!
Taken at Thief Hall in North Yorkshire. I asked the couple to stop halfway down the two lines and have a quick kiss. The idea and the photo turned out well. The family had dried flowers for several months to create the lovely confetti.
Emma had planned for her bridesmaid to walk in and she would turn around to surprise them with the wedding dress they had not seen before she turned around at that moment. Quick fire and 5 shots later somewhere in the burst of the shutter, was this reaction.. and i absolutely love it..
It was early spring when I took this image. So early that there were no leaves on the trees yet. The tree lane is actually a road right through a walnut orchard. People can pick the fallen walnuts for free in the autumn. The trees are very old and form a sort of tunnel. The oldtimer was owned by the grandfather of the bride and made it quite special to use it in the final image.
