This silhouette of the couple was taken under a bridge. The architecture and geometry of the bridge is unique and helps to make this image so special.
The ring moment.. you take it as it comes and sometimes it happens just a little more interesting than other times .. next time maybe with my drone :P
With my drone I was able to give both of them such a picture. Have to clean up the bridge before asking them to lay down.
Glad both up for the challenge. Good day for them.
This was at the end of the photoshoot with this beautiful couple in the dines of Bergen (the Netherlands) The light was just so perfect! I had to grab this beautiful in between moment.
I managed to capture this image of the bride and groom walking to the reception in between some trees. I love the warm and cool tones from the sunset.
I use two speedlights. Blue gel with grid behind the couple for rim light and red gel and sphere pointed into the tree. Great technique for this time of the year when it's get dark early and you want provide your couples with a few creative shots.
What a great place to dine.. Just before everyone sat down at the table with a camera flash we made this picture.. Just a bit more fun a photo of the dining table including the bridal couple ;)
You can fly in many ways, you can look at an image from different positions, but doing it from the air makes it look different, with much more freedom, and you give more meaning to each image. You realize beauty when you are able to look at it for more than two minutes.
Amazingly Shannon & Oliver hoped for rain in the evening so we could create a portrait like this! I found a nice composition then back lit them from behind to make the rain stand out :)
VENUE - ELSHAM HALL
I love it when bridal couples sometimes take more difficult photos. Now one wonders what was so difficult about it ?! OK. The access to the pasture was secured with barbed wire. The bride is afraid of cows, and a wedding dress doesn't really get along with what cows leave behind in a pasture. :-) Still, both of them managed it wonderfully.
Britt & Dan are such a lovely couple! They were incredibly nervous about having their photo taken on their wedding day and so asked if they could have a little shoot before the main event. They did not disappoint! They began by hating every second of it, but then the giggles and their personalities came out in abundance. Taken at Elsham Hall, this was one of the many beautiful moments they shared together.
The Incredible Kovil Montagne...
This sacred place is one of the most beautiful temples in Mauritius which is located on the top of a mountain. It was quite difficult to go there with all equipment like AD600 strobe and all. But the willingness of the couple to get something different and out of the world motivated us to go beyond our limit.
The hard work paid.
Sophie - always smiling no matter what the weather! After postponing her wedding from 2020 she couldn’t be happier to finally walk down that aisle! Oh and by the time the newly weds emerged from the church, the storm clouds had passed and the sun shone for the rest of the day!
There are not a lot of big trees where I live. This is the only one I know in Schiedam. Lit up the tree with an AD200PRO and the couple made a nice silhouette in front of the flash. Turned out great!
We had originally planned for this couples pre wedding shoot in a rapeseed field but missed out by a couple of days due to the field being harvested. So instead, we found this field of buttercups for this drone shot. We incorporated the guitar as the couple are in a band and really helped represent them!
I shot this wonderful moment between mother and daughter at the first look. The wedding took place at Slot Moermond, Renesse, Holland.
I saw the make-up artist waving to get the make-up dry and didn't hesitate for one moment. I took a LOT of photo's and I knew this one was gold. Love to see the beauty discovered by watching the light and the situations.
Sarah & Ben are keen climbers - this photo captures them on their wedding day in front of the Roaches which is a place special to them.
My clients love my rain shots at night so obviously we took advantage of the bad weather for this one which always wows the happy couple
