Sixtieth Collection
During our language stay in San Diego we met Kat & Jacob and did a couple shoot with them at the pier in Pacific Beach.
For us Swiss, the ocean and the beautiful sunsets were simply a highlight.
When the ball dropped they went into the new year married and in love! What a perfect way to start 2020 together! Cheers to many more together!
A surprise post-wedding, this couple decided to travel to Carcassonne to extend their wedding day, none of us could imagine what can be done, we managed to make a fantastic post-wedding and keep in our mind a memory like a treasure, images where creativity left us happily ever after. Love translates in many ways.
This lovely couple married in Rotterdam.: one of the biggest cities in the Netherlands. And they wanted to capture the skyline on their wedding pictures. And we succeeded... Left we see the cranes of Rotterdam Harbor, at the right Rotterdam Spido, and in the center De Euromast (Euromast Tower).
This is really Rotterdam!

Our first ever couple for 2020 Naman & Devika helped us to get this.
A click right in the middle of hot sand dunes in daylight just before they got engaged & promise each other to hold their hand & by each other sides for Now & Forever.
What a memorable first dance.. under the stars (and many twinkly lights!) in Adrian's parent's backyard whilst all their nearest and dearest looked on. So much love.
There was beautiful winter light and we caught the sun just setting for Nat & Ted at the wonderful Swynford Manor, Newmarket, Cambridge UK.
When the party almost started I noticed this awesome sunset. I asked the bride and groom if the liked to go for a little walk to make a silhouette image.
A wedding on February 14th, the day of Valentine. This sunny but yet cold and later on cloudy day resulted in making pictures in before the ceremony, however, this one was just after the ceremony.
The picture was taken in Poland, in my favorite place - the beautiful Moszna Castle. The bride worked so perfectly - taking the picture itself was just a formality; P Shot by Nikon D850.
I love to have some fun at weddings and I'm actually trying to incorporate more and more fun elements and give my couples more Modern photography. John and Alex were the perfect couples for FUN. They weren't bothered about any Love shots, they just wanted to mess about, so I said grab your phones.
What A beautiful memory! the most waited moment. The grand entrance of the bride and groom. It was a destination wedding in the paradise island of Mauritius. The perspective of the boat inspired me to take this shot through that angle. Very difficult though with the moving boat.

Darren and Mike were married on Valentine’s Day at a lovely venue called Inglewood Manor. I love this moment so much as you can see all the guests enjoying themselves whilst they have time away for couple portraits.
At this location there were turning walls with mirrors which made for an awesome opportunity to have both the bride and the groom visible multiple times. It was however quite the challenge to not have the two flashes or myself in one of the reflections :) After a few tries we found the ideal angle which made for this image!
We had such a great day with J & S this day! A great couple, lots of fun, totally crazy friends and perfect weather. When we went to take pictures, they walked hand in hand, not noticing us taking pictures from under the trees. Thanks again for this award, more proof of why our couples love our work.
After getting ready, I always take time for a quick shoot of the bride and the groom - separately - before we lead the ceremony. We take this time to breathe. to feel this time. to feel the coming moment. To let go off the stress. To feel light and ready for this intense moment.
Our love shone brighter than the shining stars. Time stood still for the moment as we walked together and she passed her finger to embrace our life forever.
The bridal couple wanted a nice group photo but had no time for this ... After a short consultation, it was a good idea to pause while walking away down the aisle to make a unique group photo. Everyone waved to the just married couple that gave a fun atmosphere. The best part about it is that the newlyweds now have a beautiful memory with all their loved ones...
Jennifer and Stephen got married at the magnificent St John College Chapel in Cambridge. The stunning leaded stained glass windows at the end of the chapel wrapped a beautiful light around the gallery. Amazing elegant and sophisticated wedding day for a very special couple.
An engagement session in the fall with future brides and grooms. In the background the Friborg mountains in Switzerland. I simply asked the couple to do a few kisses while I backed up with my camera.
Far away from friends, families, and relatives, the two of them celebrated their wedding. This couple is incredible. Not only extremely friendly and warm but also absolutely relaxed. We rarely had so much fun during a couple of shooting as with the two of them. Thanks a lot.
Shooting rings is often a sort of monotony. You find them at each wedding even though they are different. The challenge is to be able to have different compositions and ideas to bring to life this object which symbolizes lifetime commitment.
Love is in the air. I love close-ups of emotional moments - a moment that is so intimate, full of peace and security. Made at the beach of Noordwijk/NL while sundown.
On a crisp November evening, the stars beamed down bright. Jess & John were all for heading out into the dark to capture some creative images, so no need for persuasive measures to pull them off the dance floor.
For this image, I had to find a location with limited ambient light. I used a tripod, with my camera set to a 2-second exposure to bring out the stars, I then lit the couple with a burst of flash and this was the end result. :)
Venue - Bassmead Manor Barns
photographic shot inspired by the famous director Stanley Kubrick, I believe that symmetry and the central vanishing line are pure art. From the darkness of the corridor, illuminated spouses emerge.
This couple had a silent disco as part of the evening entertainment. See if you can guess the songs ;) I also wear headphones myself to see which guests listen to which music to predict where the fun will take place. Great experience and a cool photo to relive the moment.
Kat knew exactly what she wanted when she hand made her wedding confetti. And boy did it come to life! Kat and Bens wedding will always be remembered for many reasons, but this epic shot will be one of them. Fast forward a good few years and Kat now runs her own business making wonderful confetti for other couples!
Taken on the steps of St Kierans College in Kilkenny city. Known as the home of hurling it has produced many all Ireland winning players on these very grounds. Fio & Ned came all the way from Australia for their nuptials and it was only fitting their experienced some of Kilkenny's many gems for their photos.
You can find many interesting photo spots on the streets of Tokyo.
I'm staying at home now and thinking about new ideas.
I hope that things get back to normal ASAP.
