Las post-bodas en la playa son una especialidad de Álvaro de la Corte. Cada año más parejas nos piden ir juntos a la zona norte de España para realizar fotos como esta.
It was a windy day on the southernmost part of the island of La Palma (Canarias). The sun was setting, and our newlyweds were dancing their love away in the salt pans of (Salinas de) Fuencaliente. An ideal setting for an After Wedding session.
Shane & Tanya enjoying a sunset walk at their wedding venue in Powys, Wales. I spotted this opportunity at the foot of the hill and particularly like the peak of their wedding tipi just to the left of the couple too.
A frozen moment in time.. a memory.. this work is so super cool! days of happiness and love .. a day that they will remember for many years to come.
The mist in the woods lingered all day long, it looked so dreamy. I added some warm flash from behind to add some more atmosphere to the image, then had a guest float the veil in the air to create some more drama
What a look - and what a joy in the face of the bride's father. These moments make you forget for a brief moment that so much is going wrong in the world – it's just about that tiny moment.
Felt like just turning around and facing the wild Atlantic, shows no matter what comes for this couple, no matter what life throws at them, as long as they are together, they can face anything. The stunning Valentia Island in Co Kerry,, Madie & Dean and the beautiful rugged landscape.. Kerry is known as the Kingdom, and it truly is a gift if you ever get a chance to shoot down this way,, We had plans to go down onto the rocks, But wind picked up that day and it just was not safe to do so...
The bigger the confetti shot the better! and Meg & Rob had bucket loads full of colour! I always love guest reactions on these types of shot, the happiness and joy always shines through.
Gran Canaria Islands, Island of a thousand corners where each one is special, places that for me it is very important to add two beating hearts to give meaning to life, the planet gives you fantastic locations to enjoy what you like the most.
This shot was taken in the morning in the bracing cold Rajasthan weather, but the couple were a sport, and together with the fantastic traditional temple and the attire, we got an awesome shot!
Shooting in the vineyards in the South of France.
We took some little time with the kids during the shoot. We only had to walk 50 meters from the wedding venue to take this picture.
I love light rays and autumn is the season to see them. We were quite early in the morning for the formal photoshoot and we got rewarded by a stunning display of sunrays everywhere. A bit confused where to place the couple I also knew I had to be fast; it could be gone in minutes. But I was lucky to photograph in these circumstances for about ten minutes or so before it vanished.
El camino por recorrer juntos siempre es largo y tiene complicaciones y momentos increíbles. Foto relizada en Castilla y León durante una puesta de sol.
We decided to do the portrait session a few hours before the wedding. In the city of Liège, Belgium, at the very end of the Outremeuse island. The bride and groom and I share a passion for geometric shapes. So here we are!
A simple OCF behind this couple at Colshaw Hall in Cheshire, England really enabled me to shoot at a low exposure revealing the intimacy of the candlelight and symmetry of the beautiful wedding barn lighting.
Louise & James sharing a quiet moment under a hawthorn tree.In Celtic mythology it is one of the most sacred trees and symbolises love and protection. ..
This is a true documentary shot. Nothing is staged, and it took a split second decision to take this photo. At this wedding there were three stunning bridesmaids, and they truly lived up to their roles. The bride and groom drove, together with the bridesmaids, in a beautiful oldtimer to the church and parked the car right in front of the church. When two of the bridesmaids went to check out the car, I did not hesitate to capture this photo. Light was harsh, but it creates the beautiful contrast between the white dresses and the car.
I got this idea of the 2 mirrors at one of my favourite locations to shoot weddings. I actually took the shot from the right hand side and manipulated the photo in lightroom to make it look like i was in front of the couple.
This photo was taken in a walking tunnel for walkers at Het Rheins in Citty Enter.
Backlit you can see silhouette of the bridal couple in this hihg-contrast photo.
