The perfect couple, the same hobbies, addicted to sports And with the desire to continue completing goals and respect the love they have for each other, a day where smiles and tears were not lacking, their friends and family were also by their side completely convinced that this love will overcome all the bike and running races they can do throughout their lives. Happy to be there and leave the best memory.

In the little streets behind the crazy and busy scène of St. Tropez it is quiet, and the shadows are a welcome guest on this hot day. <br />
The couple was superfun and relaxt and in for some fun shots.

I had about five minutes before the Bride and Groom were called for their dinner. I spotted a wall filled with old China Tea cups. I applied a gel to the flash and hey presto!!! This couple were the coolest ever!!!

Something wonderful about a wedding is, that no matter what happens, the good mood and happiness of a couple is not clouded by anything. Not even with a heavy rain shower during the bridal couple shooting. The groom has to help out spontaneously so that the bride can step up her legs. The absolutly right moment to take picture.

Dodford Manor is a great venue to take advantage of the sky line. I really love involving the scene in my images and this was the perfect chance to do so, Lexie & Dave added the final touch

Manor by the Lake is a wonderful venue in the Contswolds, UK. This frame was using 100% natural ambient light and I was so happy the couple trusted me to brave the cold walk to get this!

Brave the cold winter nights and put all of your trust in your wedding photographer and the results will speak for themselves! This image was taken at Mottram Hall in Cheshire using 3 Godex Ad200s to light the couple while they were absolutely loving life with the bottles of champagne!

This moment for me is a great example of a story, two types of love in one scene here. This fleeting moment was captured as she reach the top of the aisle.

Always fun playing with reflections! This shot was taken with my phone up against the lens. When there's great features or architecture, it's always worth trying out a reflection shot! Taken at the beautiful Charles Fort, Kinsale, Cork.

Gemaal De Cruquius is worlds largest steam engine! Because this wedding took place in October, the bride and groom had arranged this wonderful location. Using a very old staircase I could take this picture form an interesting angle.

One from a recent winter wedding at The Oxfordshire Hotel. At the start of the day I saw the opportunity to create a portrait using the tree. I knew I wanted to add a little light to make the tree stand out whilst silhouetting the couple. We then got really lucky with the sky!

This staircase at Thornton Hall always lends itself to a 15mm wide shot. Rachel was lit with an OCF light set at 1/64 in front of her, with a second OCF to my right at 1/128 lighting the back of the dress. The 15mm lens was used to capture the ornate skylight and capture the flowing lines of the staircase too. Thanks for the award Wedisson!

Simple but effective shot. Used a purple smoke bomb with an AD200 quite far behind the couple. Also had a light set up on the front for different versions of the same pose, but wasn't activated on this shot as I wanted to go for the silhouette look.

As much as I love shooting with artificial lights..it’s sometimes so refreshing to embrace the beauty of natural light. Amidst all the greens wanted to capture the essence of romance and added to it was some beautiful sunlight making the image look surreal!

I just LOVE this shot! it looks quite "easy done", but it was definetely not! And it might look like it was not staged at all, but it was!<br />
The difficulty was to "direct" the two horses to look to the left and right, to keep them "on place", so they are positioned clearly released in front of the sky and to let the couple kiss without falling down from the horses ;)<br />
I remember laying on the grass right in front of the horses to catch the best moment with my 20mm Sigma Art, while hearing the guests whisper: "Oh boy, this guy has some guts! Would be too dangerous for me!"<br />
But to be honest, I never have thoughts like this when shooting pictures like this one. You just have to trust the couple (and the horses) and of course you have to trust yourself that you have reflexes fast enough just in case... ;)

The sunset was a bit fogged over this day, but it added to the mood for this one. I like adding reflections with a pocket mirror when I can.

This shot was taken at the stunning Abbeywood Estate in Cheshire during an incredibly informative workshop run by the awesome Neil Redfern. <br />
I've wanted to be able to create some "wow factor" images for my couples since starting my wedding photography journey and this shot is just the type of thing I was after. Using a mirror held against my lens enabled me to get the reflection of sky underneath the couple. <br />
I'll definitely be using this technique again!

It is late. The wedding party is in full swing. I see mist rising over the moat surrounding the castle. We can't miss the opportunity. So I offer the bride and groom one last photo... And that's it!

An old factory near the party location was the location for the bridal couple shoot. Unfortunately it rained that day and only little light was available. I found this armchair in a corner and found these lighting conditions in another room. Since I never really use lightning to capture the real situation, it took a few tries to get this picture. But i love it - and i hope you love it too.
