Eighty-First Collection

It's not too often that I get to photograph outside of the confines of the actual wedding venue, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to get the couple out in the streets of Edinburgh, especially as it's not one of my local areas to photograph a wedding.

Champagne shower at a wedding at the Westmoreland Club in Wilkes Barre, PA. The bridesmaid was carrying around a champagne gun so I patiently waited the entire night for the groom to take a turn.

The weather was terrible at Katy and Ryan's stunning wedding at The Oakwood at Ryther in Yorkshire. I'd taken in door photos all day! But while the guests enjoyed the wedding breakfast I wanted to use the weather, together with some lighting to create a dramatic shot making the most of the rain, cloud and the scenery, so I set this shot up and grabbed Katy and Ryan for 2 minutes to create this beautiful atmospheric shot.

This photo was taken in a Japanese garden. It is a pre-wedding shoot. I used something to reflect it. It was a very charming couple, but I chose this because Japanese wedding costumes go well with cool poses.

A shoot doesn't always have to be serious. Just have some fun and enjoy the day. And I can say that it went on so fun until late at night.

This was the last photo of the day. I set two lights up real fast trying not to fall into squirrel holes in the dark. We then drove a golf cart back to venue to grab the bride and groom.

A nice wedding in the Tyde Studios in Dortmund. It was in late October and the weather was so beautiful. While taking some photos with my couple and their friends, I had the idea to make some fun with the groom :)

Sara y Sergio se casaron en Castilla y León, al salir de la ceremonia aprovechamos los campos Castellanos para realizar su reportaje de boda.

Lisa and Stephen at the beautiful Cloughjordan House, Co. Tipperary. Image taken with a flash behind the couple and using the umbrella to illuminate them. An absolutely gorgeous wedding day from start to finish.

A beautiful hotel hall was our scenery today. And an amazing and lovely couple. Beautiful windows and lines made this lovely picture a stunning piece of art.

Un saxofonista en la boda, un lugar mágico y unos novios que se quieren a rabiar. ¿Que mas se puede pedir para realizar una foto mágica?

Whilst capturing portraits on the beach with this couple, I noticed a jetty that would serve as a great spot for the couple to pose, together with the sea and rocks it turned into a wonderful scene for this romantic photo!

The day went from beautiful blue skies to rain, strong wind and only 5° celsius outside but
that didn’t stop us from getting some amazing wedding photos. In fact we added more elements to it: smoke and fire!
Smoke bomb photography is amazing way to jazz up your wedding photos! It can turn an ordinary location into a surreal and mysterious beauty.

París ciudad del amor, al Team Álvaro de la Corte nos encanta viajar a París para realizar post-bodas todos los años. Momentos que quedan para siempre.

We missed the ideal time for shooting,it was almost night and it was very windy and cold that December day. That did not stop us from making an unforgettable memory. The groom had two great loves next to him at the shooting. BMW and his soulmate Hannka. We made an unforgettable series of photos, I’m glad this one ended here on weddison site.

Ziba i Alen. What a couple. A lot of emotions were pouring in all directions that day. The two of them are two wonderful introverts, who are at a wedding, a place of great noise, merriment and all that is extrovert. I wanted this photo to evoke that contrast of introversion of them as a couple, and extroverted people, friends, family around them. Freeze time, silence the noise.

I'm a sucker for black and white photos. They're timeless!
Sometimes an image just screams out to be converted to black and white. This is image was one of those. As soon as I looked at the back of my camera I knew that I'd process this photo like this. It was shot at a wedding workshop in an attic type room with extremely harsh light streaming through the window. I felt the intimacy of the pose lent itself to making it all about the couple so I underexposed the shot so as to render the background very dark and really concentrate the light on the couple's faces.

Pronto volverán los abrazos - The Belchite's ruins are the place we chose to do the post-wedding with Jennyfer and Oscar. We really enjoyed this emblematic and historic enclave to make your fantasy report.

Last shot of the night at Ballyseede Castle, Co Kerry. I only wanted 20 or so people to come out for the shot but the best man insisted taht he pull everyone out and I'm glad he did. Love this shot of Andrea & Michael .

It was a cold day, but it was a good day at wedding day. Guest & couple all happy be out and make the day must special and plenty evening photography. Congratulation to Abi & James.

Late Autumn around Rutland Water, Ela & Craig celebrated their wedding day in beautiful light and surroundings. We made use of the afternoon light and and the wonderful colours

When night fall, plenty magical lights hidden and depending how you want it be led up using flash etc.
Perfection when couple say yes to out while light rain.

While we were taking pictures this biker gang came and took over the photo location from us .. luckily we just finished and the bridal couple could laugh about it too .. it did make for a cool photo. ;)

This beautiful bride just had the first look with her dad before he gave het away. The daughter of the bride helped to keep her mom's eyes dry

Snow on your wedding day in the UK is rare! Laura & Sam got lucky so we made the most of these magical conditions whilst they lasted
Venue - Stone Barn, Cripps & Co

We planned the wedding reportage in the late afternoon, after the church ceremony and before dinner. Because the wedding was mid-September, the sun was already quite low and shining through the trees. The light was so beautiful that day, and the touch of smoke gives the photo a little extra magic. Their love truly radiates in this photo.

This is another shot from the wedding workshop I did with Neil Redfern at Abbeywood Estate.
There was a beautiful wisteria climbing over the pergola where the couple were to walk. By shooting through it at a wide aperture I got this gorgeous bokeh ... I LOVE bokeh! ... and having the couple almost completely surrounded by that stunning purple colour it just made the image for me.

This shot was taken at the Beautiful Forest of Arden in Meriden, Warwickshire. There is a small hill on the golf course where I placed the couple. it was pitch black so to light them up I used a soft box placed to the right of them. I then brought out the sky and the epic clouds in post.
