One Hundred and Twelfth Collection
The black-and-white photo captures a bride and groom, with the groom embracing his bride from behind and gently kissing her on the cheek. The bride has her eyes closed, savoring the moment. The picture was taken at a beautiful wedding at "Aiola im Schloss Sankt Veit" in Styria.
The Old Hall Ely is positioned in such a way that itโs gets bathed with such beautiful light during golden hour. When you get light as nice as this, all you have to do is send a couple for a walk to capture something magical.
Taken at Mitton Hall, this image is one of my absolute favourites from Tom & Emma's beautiful wedding.
From start to finish the day was filled with love, fun and laughter.
A stunningly sunny day in May provided me with the best conditions for portraits and towards the end of the evening when the sun began to dip, the sky turned a golden warm shade of orange and I knew I just had to grab my couple for some gorgeous romantic portraits. I had so many from this wedding it really was hard to choose which to submit.
Thank you Wedisson for awarding this one.
Fidan and Michael talking a moment under this sunset to enjoy this kiss. The vintage card added a beautiful flair to the photo as he helped her out.
Initially they didn't want a love shoot during their wedding. But during the Golden Hour, I saw this moment and we just had to make this photo!
Really loves the happy couples reaction when they saw the photo!
Aan het einde van een prachtige dag, verliet het bruidspaar de trouwlocatie gevolgd door hun enthousiaste dochter โจ
Oh girls just wanna have fun... At first it was a simple photo but when I asked everyone to lift their left foot, and then higher and higher it got really interesting.
If your father has arranged a super cool car for the wedding, you will of course also want to be a driver.
I love this photo. It's like to school kids off to go do something they shouldn't be doing being naughty.
The result after I asked him to dip kiss her like a gentleman. And of course the perfect location for a romantic setting.
This image was captured in a very basic room so I asked the couple to sit at one of the cafe style tables as I set up my softbox. 2 shots were taken to create this piece, with an ambient light reduced to ensure there were no distractions in the shot.
We had joked about fighting as a newly married couple so an arm wrestling contest seemed a fun subject for the shot. The couple love the image and will be even more delighted to learn that they've played their part in obtaining this award.
Having the right people in your bride tribe is so important, they are there to lift you up and support you leading up to your day and a definitely chose the right people ๐ค
We wanted to make the beautiful sleeves of the bride's dress pop, by adding lots of contrast and making a close-up photo.
The bride and groom come out of the civil registry office and are greeted with cheers by the guests.
When my clients approached me for a love shoot, I envisioned recreating a romantic picnic date. I love storytelling through pictures; capturing moments from the sidelines, almost like a third wheel on a photoshoot date. Because that's essentially what a love shoot is - and should be - about: pure quality time.
