Ninetieth Collection
During the photoshoot of this bridal couple we specially drove to a small dock at the coast of one of the islands of Zeeland (The Netherlands). It was so quiet and serene there. The water so clear and still. Together with this lovely newlyweds made this a fantastic moment.
In absolute awe of her Moms dress… the look on this little ladies face is absolutely priceless! Thank you Wedisson for the lovely award!
I love to do the couple shoots of a wedding in the golden hour. Living on the beach in northern Gernany, we have several perfekt locations near Eckernförde. Often I'll use an of camera flash to expose the couple in an underexposed enviromental picture directed against the sun. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this award!
It was time for some wedding cake. The bride was telling something with gestures and accidentally hit the cake with her elbow. The groom thought it was very funny and got a giggle.
Taken at the wedding of Tia and Jake. The wedding was held at one of my favourite venues, The Beverley Barn. With smoke grenades I just never know how it will turn out, thankfully this wedding party were up for anything! We ended up practically running around a field. Orange was the colour theme for the wedding, so the orange grenades were quite appropriate.
The girl's long gown was so elegant that I could not take my eyes off it and hence this shot was taken portraying her beautiful gown.
The window was used as a frame to get the bride's silhouette, the dress was fluffed out and the head was in a side profile to maximise the silhouette.
This special moment was actually Jess & Danny's "outdoor" first dance at the stunningly beautiful Cleatham Hall. With all eyes gazing on this gorgeous pair, I can't help but think that this looks like such a private moment. Jess & Danny had such a magical day and I honestly couldn't be happier for them with this winning black and white beauty!
I was unsure at first about taking the Bride & Groom off at this point of the day but after seeing the sky couldn't say no !
Luckily they were both up for a short walk to where we could see the epic clouds
Kelsey, Some weddings I do they have these absolutely stunning dresses, they remind me of the dresses you have seen the queens wear or the royal family wear when getting married. Had her brother throw her heavy veil up while i was in place to capture this on the first try. Flash in front with grid and sphere.
The bride's getting ready was located at her parents house. It was a dark but very atmospheric location, and there was just a little bit of window light shining through the windows of the hallway and the office, where I was standing.
I wanted to capture the dress hanging on that amazing library-style bookshelf, when suddenly the daughter of the bride was walking right through that corridor of light. The situation lasted only one second (or less) and I'm very thrilled, that I was able to capture this amazing picture.
When a rainbow interrupts golden hour, but it's okay because you've already found your pot of gold. I spent 15 minutes waiting for the sun to break through the clouds, and when it did out pops this rainbow. I had to grab Colleen & Marcus for a few extra photos to make the most of it. The luck of the Irish, eh?
Taken through some flowers in Katie & Sebs family friends home/ garden. There was limited opportunities to really try something different so I took leaped and advantage of the single colourful patch of flowers, stood legs like a giraffe eating, and shot through, as Katie & Seb naturally relaxed together in amusement. Really pleased, the sun shining on them really helped the bokeh with this. Thanks guys!
This lovely portrait of the couple was taken during golden hour at Weston Hall in Staffordshire. We took a walk around the grounds to catch the light and get the stunning venue in the background.
Alex and Nathan's wedding took place at their own home, a stunningly beautiful property in the heart of East Lancashire. They knew exactly how they wanted their romantic portraits to look so they chose the place that has the best views of the sunset and boy it didn't disappoint! There were so many gorgeous images of them it was really hard to choose which one to submit. In the end I chose this one because of how the setting sun caught the hem of Alex's dress, picking out the embellishments and making them shine like tiny diamonds.
A very festive and explosive church exit for Marie-Laure and Xavier. I had just enough time to throw myself on the floor, one knee on the steps, to capture this joyous moment with the church facade in low angle.
Taking this photo was just as exciting as it looks! Having Marycate and Geoff along with some of their closest family and friends come outside of the tent and line up. Sparklers were then lite and the bride and groom gave a slight run to the middle and the groom did a perfect dip with his new wife Marycate! I had the guest flood in around them and my camera to create this super fun moment!!
The old city centre of Tilburg is very charming and pretty, and it was the perfect choice for the wedding shoot for J&A. As wedding car they had this old cute little fiat 500 oldtimer, which was all dressed up with flowers and a basket. It was a perfect match with the old buildings, and I had nothing left to do than to captur this beautiful scene.
I think this is my absolute favorite wedding location in the Netherlands so far. There are some awesome locations within Kasteel Tongelaar and I couldn’t resist capturing this beautiful bride in front of this huge window.
It was quite a challenge to place six horses and the carriage and also include the couple into one image. The sunlight was bursting through the fog into beautiful rays of light which turned the whole scene into a fairytale setting.
This moment was captured right before the first look at the Bed and Breakfast Mon Chouette in Leusden, the Netherlands.
I positioned the groom at an open area and went to see where the bride was at. At that moment she walked outside the door and I called her name and caught her attention.
This photogaph was taken at Pentney Abby in Norfolk UK from an elevated position looking down onto the couple covered with Eco friendly confetti.
at the end of the night we ventured away from the party to grab a moment for the bride and groom to take in the empty ceremony space. - taken in the orangery at Barton Hall, Kettering, UK
For the after-wedding shoot, I was in a castle ruin with the bridal couple. I always think it's nice when unusual locations can be found for the shoots.
The perfect moment of a romantic wedding shoot with perfect light during the golden hour in in front of this beautiful location.
This was taken at the Marriott Hotel near York racecourse. We were heading out side to take some couples shots when I caught a glimpse of a reflection coming from a table in a seating area. I quickly set up the couple and snapped away.
Dani & Marc at Kiplin Hall & Gardens, North Yorks - we waited a little while for this, just enough for the Sun to poke out from the clouds before dipping behind the landscape.
I wanted to create something a little different for this couple and noticed they had some beautiful glass jars on their tables filled with candles. I used those as an interesting foreground element and placed the couple in the corner of the room lit with beautiful natural light coming in from all sides.

A Belgian-Swiss wedding at Modave Castle in Belgium. Many guests came from Switzerland, and the newlyweds had asked me to sum up the day without taking too much of their time but with great ideas without headaches and with a bit of originality. The photos of the guests were very important.
When leaving the church, I therefore asked the guests to surround the ceremonial car for a quick photo full of kindness and complicity.
