One Hundred and Thirty-Third Collection
a beautiful sunny day as bride and groom take a rowing boat on lake in front of the church they were married in.
What a moment in Tuscany.
The wedding of Stefanie & Jasper, surrounded by beautiful people, endless energy, and the kind of atmosphere you never forget. Not only an incredible couple, but also dear friends of ours.
For this shot, we literally laid on the ground to capture the perfect angle while Stefanie was thrown into the air — and her expression says it all. Pure excitement, chaos, trust, and joy in a single frame.
An unforgettable destination wedding in Italy, and an even bigger honor to receive the Weddingson Award for this image. 🤍
Where Love Stands Small, Yet Infinite
This award-winning frame was created around the idea of scale, silence, and connection. Instead of placing the couple prominently, I positioned them subtly at the bottom of the composition, allowing the towering forest to become the dominant visual element. This transforms the portrait into a story of two souls standing together beneath something vast and timeless.
The composition uses repetition, symmetry, and negative space. The textured lines of the trees guide the viewer’s eye downward until the couple is discovered, creating impact through contrast in scale. Their small presence against the immense landscape emphasizes intimacy within grandeur.
Black and white was essential to remove distractions and focus on light, texture, and emotion. The tonal contrast between highlights and deep shadows adds depth and a cinematic atmosphere.
Creatively, this image reflects how love can feel both small in the universe, yet infinite in meaning.
bride had amazing veil that almost looks like a spiders web set against the tree lined dark green background
A quiet moment as Dad waits for his daughter to come down the stairs, liked the symmetry shooting through the open doorway.
