One Hundred and Twenty-Third Collection

Whilst on holiday with my family, I saw these palm trees creating the most perfect frame. However, I didn't have a couple to put inside of it. A few days later, whilst having a drink at the bar, I noticed Elena and Leonardo. They were exactly the couple I had been hoping to meet. I coyly asked them if they'd like a couples shoot and was thrilled when they agreed. The next evening, we meet on the beach. They spoke hardly any English and I spoke absolutely no Italian, so we got by with enthusiasm and hand gestures. This was the first photo I took of them and I'm still very excited that I managed to get the photo I had envisioned.

I got to capture this beautiful couple at Wolfslaar Castle on a dark winter day. The light was shining inside, falling beautifully on the bride and groom during an in-between moment they didn't even notice themselves. What a great day this was!

Il loro momento sembra sospendere tutta l’agitazione del mondo. Sullo sfondo, il Lago di Costanza si distende, calmo e sconfinato, sovrastato da un cielo con nuvole pittoresche che scorrono lievi. La luce si riflette sull’acqua, avvolgendo la scena in un delicato bagliore. Tutto intorno appare effimero e fugace, ma l’amore della coppia rimane immobile: sfida il tempo e resiste, mentre la vita continua il suo corso.
