A fabulous couple and an amazing venue deserved a really creative photo! With beautiful skies as a background over this castle wedding, I lit the couple using a softbox camera right, along with one backlight to make the couple pop against the castle backdrop!
It was the wedding day of Shavonne and Peter and what started as a fairly sunny day transformed into a rainy ceremony. But it was a nice wedding with happy people and a great party at the end. This is the photo of the maid of honour having her hairstyling being finished.
Helen & Alex booked me as their wedding photographer in 2020 and over the past two years I've got to know them pretty well! They were both so nervous at the thought of being centre stage on their wedding day but after booking an engagement session earlier this year and having a ball during that, they absolutely rocked their wedding portraits. This photo was taken towards the end of their first portrait session of the day. We were in a beautiful meadow with long grass daisies and dandelion clocks, Helen grabbed one and asked Alex to make a wish on it .... this was the resulting shot. It totally sums up their fun and relaxed attitude to life.
Thankfully, we managed to avoid the rain all day at this wedding until about ten minutes before the end of coverage. The natural light had been pretty flat all day and I knew the couple were after something a bit more dramatic to finish on. I planned and tested the shot on my second photographer and then took the couple out for just a minute or two. One bare flash was placed a few feet behind the couple to backlight the drizzle and light up the trees and then a second light with an octabox was added from the front to illuminate Jen & Mark. A pretty simple setup with a great result.
After leaving the church, Mathilde, as a humorous rock'n'roll super bride, lets out a cry of joy and fear ! Her hands on the car window, and the freshly placed wedding ring, call for the wide angle. I love this scene full of life and humour.
Carrie and Ian were just floating away from the alter in love! As always following the couple I kept my camera on them while they shared this authentic cute moment just after becoming one.
Bridesmaids...I do love them. And these two had the most fancy matching dresses with jackets and even shining shoes. And did they like it? They loved being in the centre of attention, which is clearly visible in this picture. The bride and groom did not mind to share the attention with these two lovely girls, admiring them in the background as the girls lead them the way to the ceremony.
Getting ready with this natural sunlight is amazing! This bride looked absolutely stunning and i'm so honored to be a part of this special day!
This is actually an unique photo because the beech trees in the lane are probably a few hundred years old. Unfortunately they suffered from disease and a couple of trees were cut down recently. The tree lane will not look like this anymore in the next hundred years. Besides that I love the soft light and the trees because ik looks like they bow down to watch the couple.
Use the Golden Hour Shoot at the Best time using sunrays just a simple idea got in mind to make couple walk around and find out such and beautiful click.

That sparkle in your eyes when you look at me is the best way you tell me that you love me and that i am your answer to everything.
This awesome couple got married in the amazing St John's Cathedral in Norwich. The whole wedding including ceremony and reception took place on the grounds of the venue. I had to grab them out after the wedding breakfast before it was too dark, The Cathedral was lit by the sunset and I lighted the couple with the AD200 to create this shot.
This epic image from Vicky & Scott's wedding will forever be known as "Squad Goals" The guys loved it! It's been a massive hit with new clients looking for that something special on their wedding day.
Taken in front of the iconic doors at Winters Barns!
This couple was just so relaxed and fun to work with. We started the morning at the hotel 15 min drive from this beautiful place called landhuis Brakkesteyn in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. Before the ceremonie we walked through the forest looking for some beautiful spots but we didn’t need to look far, there it was right in front of us.
This photo was taken on an absolutely freezing cold night in February 2022 at the stunning & romantic venue that is Ellingham Hall in Northumberland, England. I grabbed the couple for less than a minute to capture this. After setting up the OCF & composition outside for sometime myself I was frozen. Knowing it was so cold I managed to nail it first time, so I'm really pleased I got the shot and the couple could head back into the warm. Winning an award on top of that makes it even better.
Kelly and Farrell’s beautiful wedding day at the amazing Launcells Barton in Cornwall. The weather had been challenging at times, I think we saw all 4 seasons in one day. Monsoon like rain meant the ceremony was moved inside at the last minute. So I was really pleased when we got a little weather window allowing for a few portraits in some gorgeous golden hour light!
This photo was taken during a beautiful sunset at a golf course wedding, the couple stood on a wall and I lay on the floor to get the shot. The passing plane was just fortuitous!
Dan and Adele's wedding at the Carriage hall in Notts was just sublime, hosted with their nearest and dearest. Drones, dancing and a lot of drinking made this a fantastic day. This shot was with Adele and her bridesmaids following a few portfolio pictures at the venue
This wonderful moment was created during a sunset shoot with the bridal couple. It is always an honor to be able to accompany people on their most beautiful day.
It was such a wunderful romantic moment during a wedding shoot. Added to this was this wonderful setting and the beautiful golden light of the sunset.
Ik heb een ontzettend mooie bruiloft mogen fotograferen van J&J en daar kwamen zoveel mooie beelden uit! Maar de blessingceremonie met Carolinadorell sprong er echt uit!
Àoidh & Darcy traveled all the way from Australia to Ireland to have their wedding day and to say they were a fantastic couple is an understatement! They were so easy going and really were a dream to work with. So delighted to of won this award.
Jowita & Mihai's wedding was an intimate celebration at Stepney hill farm, Scarborough. We had just finished doing the couple shots in the nearby countryside and they decided to walk back to the venue up the hill. As I was packing up some equipment I glanced up and saw the sillouette, I shouted for them to stop for a second.. without any prompting Mihai threw Jowita back in his arms and I took the shot.
10th June 2022 was Leeann & Luke’s wedding day on the little island of Gozo in the heart of the Mediterranean. I love the lines of the arms of the bride, groom and bridesmaid complimenting the design lines of their friends car. The pastel flowers matching the rustic wooden door was a bonus!
A fabulous sunset 4.45pm in January for Tom and Evie's pre-wed shoot on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales. Negotiating the marsh area, inching closer towards the Crigyll river we managed to capture this magical shot.
Sparklers out for Cherelle and Carlton’s gorgeous chic and stylish wedding in Farnham, Surrey !
The rain had poured down on us just one hour before this was shot

This river is an inexhaustible source of love and creation. Those two are the ones you click with. Our click was hip hop and electro music, our click was freedom and the will to make something that will be remembered.
They knew where they wanted to be photographed, and I knew how. Mirela's walk towards Shaky will be remembered.
I love this shot! The bride was sitting on the floor and her children were finding it difficult to stay still. So, I suggested they sit under her dress. They thought it was very funny and they stayed focused for a few short minutes before running off again!
This pair had an infectious personalities, the joy in their faces really shone through in their images. This is the fresh married feeling exiting the church
