One Hundred and Tenth Collection
This was such a fun relaxed day with Charlotte and Rob! We left the wedding party for a bit with a bottle of champagne for a drive and a walk to their favourite dog walking spot! This was one of the lovely photos captured, it was such a laugh!
For this wedding party photo I had the wedding party walk around the bride and groom randomly. I instructed the bride and groom to be as still as possible. I then used a slow shutter (1/4 sec) to get the motion blur of the people walking yet still freeze the bride and groom.
On a beautiful sunny day, with a light breeze rustling the leaves, she stood there in her blinding white dress. But while the world held its breath, she took a deeper breath and followed her heart, running towards a new beginning, a different future. Sometimes the greatest adventure is following your own path, away from the altar and towards yourself.
Harri and Abi were incredibly nervous about having their photos taken and so booked a pre-wedding shoot to get comfortable in front of the camera. By the end of the shoot they felt totally comfortable, and it made an incredibly difference to how they felt having me around on their wedding day, like an old friend, rather than a scary photographer! We were blessed with an incredible golden hour and here's a photo of them looking out over the views at Uphill Nature Reserve, near Weston-Super-Mare.
This window at this venue was too good and opportunity to miss. I wanted something that looked bold, thoughtful and showed the vulnerability of a bride on her wedding day.
In the Conwy Valley, North Wales. I photographed a small wedding in a beautiful centuries old church. I saw the light open through the clouds and the beautiful bride and her groom were in the perfect position for this framed image.
Deniz looking out on the River Thames in London in her beautiful wedding dress as dusk sets in. Their beautiful wedding at the Trafalger tavern in Greenwich has the most amazing views across London.
Wanneer er een oude dorpsbioscoop is in het dorp waar het koppel woont. Het nodigt uit om er magische foto's te maken.
Flirty. I’ll chase you if you chase me. How often do the nerves of the day set it in and the reason gets lost? This couple was exact opposite of what I felt. The groom chasing his bride just after a beautiful carriage ride.
This couple are dear friends of mine. At their wedding I would be their guest and as we say in Dutch "ceremoniemeester". I therefore could not take the photo's on the big day. However, they wanted me to capture the wedding reportage, and therefore we went a couple days before the wedding to a beautiful location at sundown to capture their beautiful love. The hazy flare between them creates such a romantic atmosphere!
The weather forecast was gloomy but we didn't give up. We also make couples shine with an umbrella and a flash. The beautiful heathland in Hechtel-Eksel completes the picture.
I wanted a top down view of this balcony at Milton Lee Olive Park in Chicago that's over Lake Michigan. I asked the couple to lay in the corner and I took this image with my drone. I wanted a simple composition with as little distractions as possible - the water, the balcony, and the couple. That's it.
On this super windy coastal wedding day the wind had already blown Hannah's veil away once before and I was determined no to miss it again. So as we were between family photos I felt the win pick up again and poised myself for some epic veil madness!
Cwm Idwal, Snowdonia. Couple portraits as the sun began to get low in the sky and the water was so very still.
This stunning couple took a romantic ride just off of the venue. With a pond and a road that had some turns a tree over hang I knew this was the spot.
