Fifty-Ninth Collection

This was taken up Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh. I had arranged the session for sunrise but we had to climb the hill quite a bit before I got the sun coming over the hill. It was incredibly windy so I positioned Abigail so that her hair was blowing behind her and positioned the Couple where the sun was behind them coming over the hill so I got lovely light in her hair.

Love, family, and friendship. When the bridal couple arrived and drove along the line of people who were waiting you could see and feel all of It. Isn't this the best job ever?

Sinead & Conor taken under the Great Oak in the beautiful surroundings of the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny, lit very simply with a grooms-man behind with a single gridded flash pointed at the couple and another pointed into the tree to lift the shadows.

The Veluwe is the largest Dutch nature reserve that stretches out over 60 km from north to south. It has many different landscapes, including woodland and Europe's largest sand drifts, but it also very famous for its heath, which turns a beautiful shade of purple during bloom in august. We found a beautiful patch of heath with a singled-out tree in the distance. I like how it turned out in combination with the dramatic clouds.

During the deep, deep snow, they felt happy.
It was shooting below freezing, but she worked hard with a smile.
In Hokkaido, Japan, we can meet wonderful nature and snow scenery.

This beautiful young couple wanted photos around Rochester Castle in Kent, there are a lot of grounds there and a lot of people. This was shot on a 105mm at 1.4 to really make sure there were no distractions from all the guests visiting the castle that day and it therefore really focuses the eye on the couple.

Wow! Der Pragser Wildsee erstaunt nicht nur mich immer wieder aus Neue. Im Mai 2019 gab es so viel Schnee wie in den letzten 40 Jahren nicht mehr. Ganz zu Pass für unser Shooting am gleichen Wochenende. Die Braut fror gerne für ein paar einmalige Bilder ;)

This photograph of Clodagh & Barry was captured in a beautiful winter sun in Dungarvan, co. Waterford. Ireland. The ruin of the old church behind them is known locally as the ‘clogchas’. It was founded c.1290. The surviving buildings consist of the 13th-century chancel and the 15th-century tower. The soft light makes it seem like a fairy tale.

So it was 't so hard for me to shoot this lovely, spontaneous shot!

It was fantastic to have a couple as Charlotte & Pieter-Jan. We love to work with drones. We saw this road and the idea of this lovely picture was born.

Having fun and joy during the shoot is important! This makes the whole experience more relaxed, as the picture clearly reflects. I had the privilege to shoot the wedding of this cool, future Mr & Mrs...From the cornfield, I had the perfect spot to capture the moment. This picture is a memory of a fun time and the beginning of their wedding!

With this lovely couple, we created a Rembrandt for a Rembrandt. We lighted out the couple in the center and at the ceremony, we could take this amazing shot, this almost looks like a real live painting.

Taken during an engagement shoot in Oxford City Centre - on the steps of the Clarendon Building. I love being able to use couples' favorite places during engagement shoots and this lovely couple both regularly visit Oxford for evenings out.

That amazing moment when you walk out of the city hall right after you got married. Friends and family are waiting for you to come outside, ready to welcome you with a lot of confetti.

The driver wants everything to go well hahaha I love this photo. Newlyweds right at the moment they kiss, the photo was not the intention, but the spontaneous is always liked and the driver's face says it all.

This picture is taken on laura's wedding day in Valladolid (Spain). Everything was just perfect, the location, the light, the bride, the veil... What a day!

it was intense heat that day 35°C that was difficult to stand out in sunlight for couple & team but we did manage to capture this greatest moment & exotic location.

Late in the evening, when the sun went down, my lovely couple and me made this wonderful shot. Because of the reflection, it looks as if the couple is floating above the clouds.

We started this couple's pre-wedding shoot at their home. When I arrived I saw the amazing big windows with the trees in the reflection, so this idea came into mind. We are really happy about how it turned out!

The surprise wedding!
Valentine's Day, R&S invited family & friends to come to the venue for a party. They know each other for 20 years and that is a reason to party, right? What they did not know is that they were getting married that day! Imagine their faces when the party was a real marriage :)
Plenty of screams, tears, and laughter and for us a great moment to shoot a beautiful series with this lovely couple.

They kissed into a blanket of stars, wondering how lucky enough they both will be in the earth to find each other,
the love they loved was more than love this Makes life complete.

The groom called me up a few days in front of the wedding to Yello me that his Achilles tendon was torn off. So this wedding I had to thing out the box all the time to make then look good without showing the crutches. I ended up having 4 awards for this wedding. Thinking out of the box is none of my favorite things to do.

This bride fascinated me very much; not only that she was a beautiful bride and wore a very unusual wedding dress - but she was also so spontaneous and uncomplicated. We passed this field on the way to the photo location. The incidence of light, the lines and width had caught my attention. The bride noticed that and just said: "if you like it, we can make a few pictures here." And off we went in the mud with bridal shoes ... ;-)

Lottie and her bridesmaids were a barrel of laughs all day long, being a winter wedding I had to move fast before the laughter wore off, so short, sharp spells of banter worked well.

A real classy wedding, that's always great to shoot for us! We noticed the big chandelier and could not resits to put our beautiful couple there.

It was a very rainy day in The Hague and we visited several museums where we came across this beautiful staircase. This was on my wish list! museum House of the book founded in 1852.

This is a special one... Our team Lux Visual Storytellers took pictures of Rosanne and Niels on their wedding day in July. We were obsessed with the lines, the symmetry... We flipped the picture and wow this effect!

This awesome couple had rented Solexes to make a smashing entrance at their wedding. The weather, however, was very ominous and when I snapped this photo, it felt like they really had to race to stay ahead of the storm. In the end, the rain wasn't so bad. We even had a short glimpse at a double rainbow right after the ceremony.
