Zumaya, the place of the Game of Thrones, has a magic that cannot be explained, a day with neutral light without bright colors, it was late and the light wanted them to be the protagonists of the landscape, without a doubt a magnificent day with a beautiful couple .
We're so thrilled and grateful to have won our 8th Wedisson Award! Saskia and Ronald celebrated their wedding day on September 19th, 2019. A joyful and intense day to remember. This lovely couple chooses several locations for their photoshoot. The Dominican Monastery of Zwolle (The Netherlands) offers great backgrounds wherever you look. The cool thing about this picture is that it's actually taken when we already finished up the shoot itself. As galant as Ronald is he kept the door open for his bride on the way out. We loved the light putting the couple in contours. Although there's a lot of black in this shot, it still shows the calm and easy feel that surrounds these lovebirds.
"A journey once begins has no end"
This was our first ever Nigerian wedding we shoot for this couple in the heart of Dubai with a view of the world's tallest structure Burj Khalifa touching the sky just under this magnificent structure our couple promising each other "Together our love will touch the sky".
I took the picture in a beautiful castle near the city of Opole in Poland. The weather was favorable at the beginning, however, there was rain, which made us see climatic clouds in the photo. The young couple worked together perfectly. Pictures were taken with a Nikon D850 camera and a 20mm f / 1.4 lens.
We are currently in San Diego to study English here. Here we also met Ria and Dong from South Korea. They were the only married couple beside us here at the school. So we asked them if they would like to be in front of our camera. And as you can see Ria is a professional Balerina.
On a lovely summer day, we went to Zeist for the wedding of H&J. They had arranged a lovely old VW Kever (or Beetle) Cabrio as their car for the day. When they drove off from the house of the bride and waved goodbye to the family, we captured this great moment.
Lucy & Ryan got married at Swynford Manor in Newmarket on NYE. Lucy claimed she instantly relaxed once I arrived. As far as brides go she was already as cool as a cucumber but I appreciated the sentiment:) Lucy was in the magnificent bridal suite for her bridal prep and this image was shot during the final stages before leaving the room. The day was super relaxed and so much fun. Because of the date, everyone certainly was up to the party. A perfect day from start to finish.
We, Rieslingliebe, do not only combine love and passion with our photography. We include our home, the Rheingau, in each of our pictures. Julia & Fabien got married only in twos at one of the most beautiful places in the Rheingau. In the Relais & Châteaux Burg Schwarzenstein in Johannisberg. From here you have a fantastic view of the Rheingau.
Tossing rice at the end of the ceremony is meant to symbolize rain, which is said to be a sign of prosperity, fertility and good fortune. However, the reactions are always priceless! For this one, I had to be ready and the countdown helped to capture this unique shot at the right moment.
A Russian-German wedding is very special in many ways. But one moment is really magical: at a certain time, the bride and groom sit opposite each other and the bride's mom and also the mother-in-law take off the bride's veil. Now she is no longer a bride, but a wife. A silence spreads and the bridal couple exchanges incredibly beautiful looks. I was really fascinated by this magic moment.
Deep into summer when golden hour is at its best, I held out till the last minute, which at times can be a risk, but on this occasion, it paid off, what an evening for Hayley & Charlie. It was so good we even got the whole bridal party out into the fields after having some fun in this gorgeous light.
Venue - Hazel Gap Barn.
