I actually wanted to make a silhouet, with them in the shadow and exposed for the darky, creepy sky.
But turning the shutterspeed wheel, I decided to add some light after all.

this shot was taken last week, with this wonderful couple! This was right after the wedding ceremony in Cuijk (Netherlands).
I gave the couple an umbrella because the drizzle still hasn't stopped

I shot this at a 'Sylvester wedding' in Nijmegen. Everything was so atmospheric and cozy, and also the couple and their guests were awesome!

I made this picture at the wedding of Sanne and Stan, where I was a second shooter with photographer Arieta van Leur.
This was so much fun to make!

We made this shot in the forests of the Rheederoord estate. We took cover under these very special Sequoia trees because it was drizzling a bit. So we gave Brenda and Laurence a little moment for themselves.

I was able to make this lovely picture in the Hatertse Vennen (Nijmegen) during a smoking hot day. The heather was blooming, but Loesan & Roel needed some shadow now and then to cool off a bit ;)

I had the honor to shoot the fantastic wedding of Mark & Marijke on 'leap day' this year! This shot was taken a few minutes after their 'first see', inside this lovely 'Valkhof chappel'.

This was my first wedding with two men. It was so much fun since they prepared in the very same room! And compared to brides...man, they were FAST! ;) They had a beautiful bedroom with nice colors and plants, and some very cool lamps. So I grabbed two small flashes and decided to get them both preparing at that same spot. The blue colors of their suits complemented the golden industrial lamps so well!

This wedding I shot last autumn of Ruben and Lineke, in at the castle of Wijchen.
These kids were so excited about their parents finally got married!
So it was 't so hard for me to shoot this lovely, spontaneous shot!
