Het is een ontzettende eer dat al bijna 150 stellen mij het vertrouwen hebben gegeven om hun bruiloft te mogen vastleggen. Als jullie opzoek zijn naar een fotograaf die van spontane momenten houd dan ben ik wellicht jullie fotograaf. Een mooi compliment vind ik: "We hebben bijna niet door gehad dat je er was!" Ik hoop dat ik in de toekomst nog vele stellen mag bedienen en mag verblijden met een tastbare herinnering aan deze speciale dag. Al zolang ik me kan herinneren ben ik gefascineerd door fotografie. Na de havo (2001) ben ik gaan studeren op de fotoacademie aan de prachtige Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. Toen nog met mijn (analoge) Minolta7000 was ik dagelijks op zoek naar mooie plaatjes en zo niet was ik te vinden in de doka om mijn films te ontwikkelen en af te drukken. Naast school had ik een bijbaan bij Cameraland (toen nog Foto Kiekie) in Alkmaar, waar ik leerde beeld bewerken met Photoshop en het bedienen en onderhoud van machines in het lab. Na de Minolta 7000 ben ik over gestapt op de Nikon F90, Wat een topcamera is dit maar helaas niet meer van deze tijd. Het digitale tijdperk brak aan en de zoektocht naar mijn nieuwe favoriete (digitale) camera ging van start. Ik ben mijn professionele carrière begonnen met de Canon 5D Markt II, de overstap naar Canon kwam doordat collega fotografen al met canon werken en hierdoor het uitwisselen van apparatuur makkelijker werd. 7 jaar lang (vanaf 2017) heeft dit werkpaard mij geholpen een betere fotograaf te worden. Ook nu is er weer een nieuw tijdperk aangebroken wat betreft digitale fotografie. De opklap spiegels zijn inmiddels weer ouderwets en de systeemcamera is helemaal van nu. Mijn nieuwe beauty de Canon R5mii gaat mij hopelijk weer net zo veel goeds brengen als mijn vorige camera's die allemaal netjes met pensioen in de vitrinekast staan. Drinken we binnenkort een kopje koffie? Groetjes Evelien
