On the morning of the wedding, before we left for the church, I was doing some portraits with the bride and I noticed a spot with good light and a dark background. When the bride sat down, I saw how the shadow fell across her face, so I positioned her so that it fell across her eyes, but retained the catch lights.

A split second of pure celebration. Just after leaving the church, surrounded by confetti and cheering guests, the groom dipped his bride for a spontaneous kiss — a fleeting moment of joy captured in the middle of the chaos.

Just before the ceremony, the bride took a quiet moment to step out of the car and adjust her shoes. That small pause created a natural and intimate frame that perfectly captured the calm before the day truly began.

On their wedding day, this couple was so genuinely swept up in their happiness that they couldn't keep their eyes (or lips) off each other. They were kissing at literally every step. I captured this quiet, intimate moment through the glass, framing their affection against the grand, classic architecture of the venue.
