Forty-Second Collection
Wedding of Natasha and William located on the Northern west side of Hawaii island. Straight out of fairy tale.
They chose this location and property for its ideal scenery and beautiful grounds. Visiting this location multiple times from there hometown of San Francisco.
On the day of the wedding we had an extreme downpour and then the rain stopped right at sunset and we where able to capture these beautiful memories.
This shot was taken at Rascals restaurant in Shorditch London. I often do styled shoots and love that I can play around with props to add more fun to an image. There was plenty of pink at this shoot and mixing the pink with the green was a great contrast. I love that he's slightly peeking through the fern.
When your fiancé and now wife is a pro golfer you tee it up for her! The question is did she actually take a swing or not? Had a blast shooting this wedding nonetheless!
This photo was taken on the beautiful memory place of groom. He told me his bride would like a dream wedding on the beach. and here Rayong resort Hotel,Thailand has been chosen by Groom. He had been here before and got impressed feeling with this place. I love this shoot. it's quite remantic for both action. Blue sky, Big green tree on the background and light-wind was made this photo is perfect romantic.
The photo was taken in a beautiful town in La Siberia Area in Extremadura called Herrera del Duque .The region of Spain with most kilometres of freshwater coastline. It is situated in the northeast of the province of Badajoz and has good access and communications by road. This was not always the case, however, and this is how the area, which is neither inhospitable nor cold, got its unusual name.
Chloe & Joe's wedding was incredible in every possible way - it was a day packed full of love, uniqueness and sensational moments, and of course their first dance was no exception. Held in the orangery at the epic Aynhoe Park in the UK, Chloe & Joe danced to a carefully choreographed routine surrounded by their friends and family (and looked on by a curious giraffe). This picture was taken at the end of their dance, although you can't see their reactions you can just imagine the look on their faces!
Jocelyne (from Guatemala) and Pieter (from the Netherlands) had a once in a life time wedding . Their entire wedding was a surprise to them and was organised by Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. They had a sky full of airplanes at the airport as their wedding backdrop and we were able to do a photo shoot on 'air side' with a beautiful blue KLM plane; how very special and unique!
Mitch and Fleur met for the first time at the MBO De Rooi Pannen during their Hospitality training.
Now, years later they are getting married and they want to do their wedding photoshoot at the school. And this is one of my favorite photos.
This photo was an idea from Paola, the bride and me, i wanted to do some boudouir pictures and she was perfect for that occasion, she and her mom made her dress that was to pieces, in the room i told her to lay on her bed an put her heels on the back on the bed, the result was perfect.
This foto has been taken on the Lofotes, Norway. Despite the stormy weather we had so much fun during this shoot.
The Lofotes are such a beautiful place, quiet, beautiful landscapes, and a very special place to get maried, especially during midsummer nights were it never gets dark.
As Hana was about to walk down the stairs, the veil started flying everywhere. She was doing everything she could to hold it on from flying off and she couldn't help but to laugh in unbelief that she is about to loose her beautiful long veil. I was like, wait pose like this is meant to happen and then this was the out come. She looked like a top model!
This was a collaboration with my friend Ed Bray who helped me capture this image with a drone at Godwick Hall in Norfolk, UK. Alice and Nick were a dream couple, up for anything we suggested, so we decided to use the old abandoned church spire as the location for a 'birds-eye' style composition and it turned out awesome!
It was a very magical day. After a full day of rain an grey the sky cleared up in the evening and showed a stunning evening in front of the castle Gütsch on top of the city of lucerne in Switzerland. An amazing few over the lake and mountains. We were just wrapping up since it just started raining again when the lights on the castle went on. So we went for anothershot in slight rain in front of the castle.
Thank you for this award. The photo is of Sabine and Alex's destination wedding in Austria at Schloss Friedberg on a very wet day where we could only grab a short time for newlyweds.
Bridal prep is often my absolute favourite part of the day. Enjoying the morning with the girls, having a relaxed start, photographing the little details etc. As soon as I know I have a 'safe shot' for hair and make-up though I like to push things a bit further and get creative. Lighting the hairspray isn't really a new concept but as soon as I saw both the hair and make up artist making their final touch ups before Kelly got in her dress I knew I had to get them both in action!
Taken from across the lake at the very lovely Nina and Anthony West's wedding. We took a moment at dusk to enjoy the beautiful grounds at Longstowe Hall.
More than throw again the bouquet, this bride decide to play a bit with her friends. We higlight her with light and use the DJ atmosphere as well to create a vibrant photo.
This lovely couple, Patty and Diëgo, got married on an augustday full of love. After the ceremony they got into this characteristic topless deux-chevaux. This created a perfect photomoment wich makes for a beautiful memory.
After a really great wedding day, was there at the end of the day this perfect light... So pack up and go for a small hike!
Sequoia trees are just mind-blowing! With a gorgeous couple with the perfect lighting makes this image stunning!
This wedding was so much fun! We did two photo shoots this day. One in the morning with just the couple. And because the couple wanted some really fun group photos as well, we took an hour for all kinds of funny group photo's. This is one of my favorite, but there are much more fun group photo's taken that afternoon. It was not only very funny for me. Also, the wedding couple and their guests had a lot of fun taking these photos. The smiles are real, so is the fun you see the people have.
I took the picture in the Moszna Castle in Poland. The weather did not encourage pictures, it was just a photo taken just 15 minutes before the rain. Beautiful dress of the bride made it easier to take a nice shot. Generally, great cooperation with the client. I recommend this castle as a place for a photo shoot, because each time the castle can be shown in a surprising way.
I took the picture at 20mm, Nikon D850.
I envisioned this shot weeks before the wedding in my head, so on the day of the wedding, we headed down to the jetty before the reception started. Created using a blue creative gel flash behind the couple and a CTO gelled flash boomed out over the lake as a key light.
OMG! I'm speechless for this shot LOL This guy was a little tipsy and jumping and dancing all night like crazy. He was so much fun. Surprisingly he felt down holding the beer bottle, and because I'm always looking for real moments to capture, I found myself in the right place at the perfect time to capture this hilarious shot.
This photo was taken in February. A very strong snowstorm and blizzard lasted the whole day. That didn't stop us from taking great pictures. All my equipment was in the snow, like me. Newlyweds heroically held. There is a series of photos where the guys fight with pillows stuffed with bright orange and bright pink feathers, which are undressed against the background of white snow and emotions! It was great!
While the bride was getting ready, i was looking for places to photograph the couple. Outside on the deck i saw this chess board which i thought was a cool idea for a couples photo! Once couple was ready, we came to this chess board and after few cute poses, i thought it would be a good idea for a fun photograph! It was that moment when this idea popped up in my head where bride and groom are fighting this battle in the center of the chess board! (We all know who is going to win all the battles in the end!)
it was a scene during the wedding party in the restaurant. The beautiful bride took a selfie together with a friend. When I saw it, I positioned myself behind them. They did not notice my presence until I had already taken some pictures of the cute scene. And I can also be seen in the picture ;-). The light of the phone was the main light in the otherwise relatively dark room.
Erwin and Nicka got married near the city of Zwolle. Although rain was expected these days, we managed to keep it dry all day. We had a great wedding shoot in the area and when we arrived at the party location, we used the glasses (ready for the toast) to make this image. Magmod and grid with blue gel to give it some drama and ready!
The Gorgeous and Intimate Wedding of Danni & Josh. Only the closest of friends and family were there to witness their beautiful beginning! And what a beautiful story of Young Love it is! The two met through work and within a year got engaged, now married and are about to have their first baby boy in a few months! Such a sweet and cute couple. Love was definitely in the air between these two! Congratulations to the beautiful newlyweds!
I can't tell you how happy I am to win an award. Thank you so much! This was such a fun wedding. Lucy and Adrian had their reception in a marquee on a huge piece of land and included a large red bus, a sack race and the very tricky Rodeo Bull. I'm sure Lucy had more than one go! Thank you again. I am so, so pleased.
