The rain wasn't in the forecast for this destination wedding but when the clouds started to roll in after the ceremony it almost seemed like we were going to get rained out. We stuck it out though and did what any person at their wedding day should do...enjoy the moment and use it to tell the story no matter if it started raining or not everything is going to be amazing and fun as long as you have that attitude to go with it! The clouds wanted to mix but they were almost like oil and balsamic vinegar just staying completely separate showing the difference in clouds and weather all in one shot. It was amazing to capture in real-time and in the end it didn't rain! Lucky us!
Walking to the reception I saw this opening that was on the sand and had direct access to the horizon from the path and boom I knew I needed to shoot there. Obviously not a planned shot but who cares because keeping an open mind on top of your usual workflow can allow you to see things freely with no constraints and no preconceived notions. I am a blank canvas every wedding day because my clients are always unique in their own way individually and together and that for me is important in telling their story in pictures! Ok, we can go back to the warm now. I think we are all sick of this cold weather already!
The rain did not keep this awesome couple from going for a nice stroll with their dog along the lake. Rain on the lens adds to the overall mood of the image, and gives it, in my opinion, an even more fairy tail like effect.
We were lost in the moment! Under the shelter of those green gigantic trees, we were having a warm and soothing feel. There was a clear sky on that day. Everything was looking so perfect under the sky that we just laid in the middle of the road and was thinking about, the world we are going to make together. We were having that feeling of now sky is the limit for us. We were looking in the sky, for those chirping birds and this beautiful picture has been captured by the photographer with his art.
This photo was taken well after sunset. The day ended in the beautiful city of Rotterdam.
The Williamsburg in Rotterdam is already a picture in itself but this bridal couple finishes it off.
This was one of those lucky 'moments' when the mixture of poor venue lighting, wide space, and a genuine lovely closeness between the bride Justine, and her father, just before he walked her down the aisle, all just came together and I was fortunate enough to capture it.
Because Venice is a city that lives non-stop, we decided to go for photos at night. There were very few tourists and we had the time and the opportunity to experiment with additional lighting. Two days later, a wave of water flooded Venice. We were lucky.
This picture was taken at the amazing location of Borgo dei Posseri, Ala, Trento, Italy. It's just stunning the view there, i used the place to frame them. The picture was taken during the wedding of Sara and Mattia.
One of my most favourite images to date. Simple, elegant and beautiful. The dress really helps to deliver the impact in this photo. One key light camera right.
A couple in love wanting to turn their lives into a true fairy tale. Aleix & Laura hired us 3 years before their wedding day with the intention of ensuring the best result and deciding where to end the post-wedding. This is the result, where the force that the newlyweds give off is stronger than the rocks that welcome them.
Running up that hill. That was our slogan while climbing the Iceland mountains with a wedding couple. These two lovers had so much fun. Thanks to the judge for choosing this pic.
This awesome couple was open for taking some non-standard shots during the photoshoot. The position is of them relative to the mountain peak and the way they hold hands gave something quite magical to the image. I, and more importantly the wedding couple, love how it turned out.
This wedding took place in late October at a resort at the top of a mountain. Earlier in the day, we took photos with the Fall foliage, and later that night I pulled the couple out for a few minutes for some photos in the mountain snow. Fuji XT2, 56mm f1.2, backlit with a Lowell GL-1.
What is a wedding without a good group hug? Nothing is better than sharing the love on such a beautiful and special day! Creating this shot was so much fun!
Love the light witch is a mix of natural light and flash! Creating this special classy pictures for our awesome couple is my goal!
Lost in the middle of the Schwarzsee Lake deck, those two are the beloved moments of a legendary story. Running far away from their families, they disappear in the swiss mountains. Some say that sometimes in the falling wind, we are able to hear them laughing...
Maybe one of the "more special" weddings in this season. The couple loves Disney films and wanted a special picture with a white horse.
It was evening and the sun was swallowed by the endless ocean. Kinjal and Parth’s eyes blended their emotions and it was a perfect time for their voices to shut and their soul to synergize and this made the perfect shot for me.
After doing our first look outside my clients wanted to warm up a little so right back into the hotel we went and that is when I saw the light coming through on the stairs leading up to the rooms. Added a little pop of flash as they walked up and boom I got a great shot of them before we actually shot the photo I was planning on shooting. So blessed to have couples that trust me in what I do!
