An epic couple amongst an epic scenery. Iceland was our choice this time and what an adventure it was! Would run back to this beautiful place in a heartbeat!
Well, this shot took quite a few frames to get perfect as you can imagine dealing with jumping, position, perspective, etc. But very happy with the final image and most importantly the brides loved it.
Anticipation, worry, and excitement can be felt by almost everyone the moment the bride and groom are about to meet. I decided to make a unique picture for both and it ended up like a movie poster for their wedding
Lauren paused for a moment before heading down to see her father for the first time in her dress - a deep breath with a look towards the light was all this perfect reflection needed.
One of my favourite brides to shoot! Using the best light there is which was next to a huge window, I got to shoot this frame. The best part was me and the team having the biggest laughs during these shots. Beautiful bride, beautiful wedding, beautiful people!
I love the feeling of this picture. The bride was so happy after saying YES. The day was beautiful. At the beach of Dishoek (Netherlands), these two lovers tied the knot. Feeling so free and as a child is a wonderful expression of this picture!
This image was taken at the wedding of Consuelo and Andrea in Castel Mareccio, Bolzano, Italy. I saw this window during the shooting of the couple... and it was perfectly framed in the architectural structure of the castle. I used one off-camera flash reflected on the wall behind them to make the right silhouette and contrast between the rest of the scene.
James & Sharmika ~ at their beautiful intimate Tamil Hindu wedding ceremony. “I’ve fallen in love many times…always with you.”
One of my most fun weddings to date, everything was like a festival, sitting on straw, food fans and ice creams, what a wedding. We just did the formal group shot of the girls and thought let's get funky with it, girls dancing throwing the wellies in the air? Of course, they were game.
One of my favorite at this location & from this shoot. A perfect click on a cold and windy day in December just before the sun goes down.
A right place, epic location, perfect light, beautiful couple & the best team always makes a stunning picture.
The ring is a circle for a reason. The love you both share should last an eternity and should always come full circle together as one! Every wedding day for me I try to make ring shots epic because of their meaning to the big day...not because of what they cost. That part is irrelevant.
It is always a challenge to do something original for every couple at church. These tiny seconds to capture the immortal moment. It is a win or loses a type of shot. It's either go big or go home. And, guess what? We went big!
Near the end of our shoot we had to run across DC to get to the Jefferson Memorial. Only place to get the majesty of this beautiful memorial was in the back. We just barely got there in time to setup this shot. We put two SB910s behind the subject and shot this with the Nikon 14-28 2.8. Cranked up to f/11 @ 14mm right at sunset. We added a bit of a sun flair off to the right just for effect.
The anticipation levels of who would catch Charlotte's bouquet were extremely high! When she threw it, these ladies took no prisoners!
Everybody looks at the bride and groom when they say „yes“ to each other. But it is the youngest who stole the show. Why looking from the background, when you can be a part of it.
"Two Cappuccino, please!" - On our way to the next shooting location, Anastasia & Sergej needed a short break. The guest of that little cafe were so excited that they were starting taking pictures the whole time. I guess they have now more pictures of their special day, than the few from us!
Shooting alongside Soozana, this one was epic. Flying out to Morocco and then jumping into the pool for this beautiful shot. The couple did the hard work jumping in and out but loved every bit!
Shooting in bad weather seems to create amazing shoots! I shoot this picture on the streets of Graz, Austria! The couple was very playful, and they just stop to have a little hug, covering themselves with the umbrella. I chose to lit with a Speedlite flash to create some dramatic shadow.
The blessing in the church was for this couple the most important moment on their weddingday. There where tears when the whole church was singing there song. During the blessing the groom grapt the hand of his beautiful bride and put a kiss full of love on her hand.
