Twenty-Eighth Collection
I absolutely loved photographing Ronel and Johan. They were so much fun and we had such a great time on the beach that day. I took some of their photos in the late afternoon sunshine and we then sat on the beach and drank champagne whilst waiting for the sunset.
Working around a busy tourist city is never easy but it maks you look and find different angles at spots you may have missed. Working with my clients here at golden hour was perfect timing with the sun hitting the Lincoln memorial while allowing me to silhouette my clients! They absolutely loved how it turned out!
I am infinitely happy to take a picture of two loving hearts coming together , Sa'ad & Haya are a gorgeous couple from Jordan , i have been friend with sa'ad for more than ten years!! and i think he definitely found his other half .
Trini & Mónica got married in Alaejos, Valladolid, the entire day was beautiful. The picture was taken in the castle of the wineries of Monte la Reina in Zamora and we wanted to recreate a story of prince and princess. A true story of love.
After years of promising to go to the aquarium together, graphic designer Mayur surprised pharmacy student Niki with "Will you marry me?" hidden inside a seashell! Of course she said yes! Niki and Mayur certainly weren't afraid to try new things on their engagement shoot. Seeing them walking along the edge of a parking deck shows you that they definitely know how to have a good time!
This venue was a lovely old style Victorian mansion with beautiful wooden floors, ceilings, and furniture. I put the couple next to the window to take advantage of the great light and the sudden breeze was perfect timing.
Eugene and Anna are passionate couple. Newlyweds are very fond of Latin dances. In the dance they live each other! Evgenie's masculinity complements Anna's tenderness. They are beautiful!
Rebecca & Rich's Wedding was wild - from start to end; action packed and heaps of fun. As Rebecca & Rich cut their cake, Rich popped open the champagne with a huge sword and passed it around.. Rebecca was determined to get every last drop :) Their celebration was fantastic day with amazing people - full of beautiful legitimate moments of fun and joy.
We were late for the wedding shoot because the part of getting ready' took about an hour longer. But no worries, in only 20 minutes we made a lovely wedding shoot.
It rained non stop for Tara & Marks wedding at Carylon Bay in Cornwall, we managed to get a few photos around the hotel grounds during the day with umbrella's but I wanted to give them something special before leaving for the day, I set out onto the golf clubs green and set up my flash with my triggers, I did a couple test shots using my second shooter in the frame so I could get my settings right then the bride and groom came outside for us to fire off a few photos, we are really happy with how magical it came out with the rain drops being lit up like stars.
The wedding couple wanted something different during the shoot and took me with them to a kart track
They not only wanted the standard pictures in nature. And I was really surprised of the possibilities this location gave me.
Only a few lamps were burning and so we had to use the only light spot there was in the ceiling.
This poor bride had to endure a rainy wedding day. Fortunately her and her fiance were not affected by it at all. The rain brought out a dramatic sky and the bride and groom stood in the drizzling outdoors to allow for this magnificent shot.
This couple was looking for fun and out of the ordinary locations for their pictures, and so we went to their athletics court. This idea was born quite quick as they were on their marks and set to get married!
Thanks Chris and Linda for having me as your photographer; this was fun.
This photo is taken with a very short and limited time.
As we head toward the ground floor to continue the shooting session at the next location, I do a simple set-up. This photo was taken in an elevator hallway, while waiting for the elevator door to open.
This Photo was made during the hindu ceremonies in the Netherlands. You will see the mother's bride give blessings to the bride, who is just sitting calm and a bit sad for leaving her parents home. You will also see the sadness on the mother's face who is hugged by familie.
It was a beautiful, happy, yet sad moment.
A beautiful moment between the bride Nishthal and her happy parents just before the wedding. They were so excited for the wedding, but moreover; they could not take their eyes off of Nishthal, as she was looking absolutely breathtaking
Emotions are the best things to capture on a wedding. I'm always looking for the connection between people. Like this one between daughter and father (the groom).
A totally incredible DIY wedding on the farm owned and ran by the couple! They had put these lights across the farm yard and I couldn't resist using them as leading lines, combined with the farm buildings, to create something very different and unique for their portraits.
This photo was taken during the engagement session for Alexa & Billy. He was a rower in college so it made sense to go to the lake where he spent so much time. I pulled out my drone to capture a few aerial photos during the session and loved all the negative space in this which lets you focus on the couple holding hand (no easy feat in this type of boat).
Joe and Libby, madly in love, as you can tell from this first kiss. The Ceremony is set in Nottingham's Arkwright Rooms at the University.
This bohemian beach inspired bridal shoot was so much fun with famous model and blogger Juli Proven. The setting is at Amara Cay resort in the beautiful Florida Keys. A Lavish Moment Event Design created the perfect decor and florals for her day. Her dress is by Island Bridal and Ciao Bella Salon and Spa of Islamorada provided hair and makeup. She is truly the pearl of the sea. Www.staciamorgan.com
Some couples are just naturally amazing. You can feel the passion radiate from them and you can't help but to smile. No posing was needed as I simply told them to be themselves and do what comes naturally.
Jay & Moumita reinstated our faith in serendipity. The first time they met, they never knew they would be ending up together. Linked by destiny, set up by best friends, strengthened by Bonds.
This photo was taken while Beth & Craig where having their first dance. The LOVE Sign was part of the cake table decoration and I decided to shoot through it for a portion of their first dance to add more ambient light to the scene.
Rachel & Elliott got married in Goring by Sea, they had an incredible convertible to take us to the reception. On the way they were in the back of the car and Rachel used her veil to hide her and Elliott from the wind - and I captured this beautiful moment!
This was one of the most wonderful and emotional weddings I have ever been to - so many laughs and tears of joy! Michelle + Giuseppe were married at Pembroke Lodge and 50% of their guests made the journey from Italy. Here, Michelle surprised her husband, Giuseppe and their guests with a speech in Italian.
My Bride in this wedding was extremely graceful and had this beautiful vibe of serenity and poise.
She was also a writer, had an amazing sense of aesthetic and an appreciation of art. I knew I wanted to capture that essence of her soul & immortalise that serenity, almost like a painting.
I'm tired of doing the typical picture of the group at the couple's house. For this reason I am always looking for original things, new ideas, different shooting angles. Of this information about this photo. I saw that there was a big mirror in the living room and I found myself looking at the mirror in the whole family. I put myself behind them and I could make this photo so original.
The castle of Turku is one of the most beautiful castles in Finland. It's also unique because you can get married in the castle.
Living in the midwest United States where it is relatively flat, Katie and Michael wanted to do something special for their after wedding photos here in Estes Park. Rocky Mountain National Park surrounds our town and has many places to pull off and walk in a bit to create amazing images. These two told me before we met that they were alright with being a little dangerous on their day, so I took them here and placed them on a few boulders that stand nearly 1000 feet above the valley floor.
