One Hundred and Twenty-First Collection

This photo has been one of my favorites for a long time. The photo was taken at the Twisk station, still in use by the Hoorn-Medemblik Steam Tram Museum. Great that this photo has now also been internationally recognized!

This photo captures a beautiful moment between a Swiss bride and an Eritrean groom on the outskirts of Zürich. The day began with a mix of clouds and sun, and I was concerned we might miss the golden hour. But just before sunset, the sky cleared, revealing a perfect, warm glow. The couple was incredibly adventurous, trusting me enough to follow through tall bushes and into an open field—where we found the perfect spot to capture this cheerful and elegant moment between them.

Early in the morning we drove to this spot at the Berninapass, where we catched the sun, when it just came over the mountains.

Both bride and groom serve with the fire department — so of course, the truck had to be part of the story!
