Key west sunsets are just priceless but what is even more priceless is sharing it with someone you love celebrating love, health, wealth, and happiness! So blessed to capture this! Family first!
Trying to get this shot at the National Gallery of Art is like trying to steal the Mona Lisa or the Declaration of Independence! Seriously this shot takes a bunch of factors to all come together just for one click. There are rules getting in, cannot block the paths or stock traffic, and there is not a lot of light. And let us not forget timing the star lights as they cycle through a different pater on a timer but when you get that 1 shot it was all well worth the chase especially when your clients are dying for this one!
I didn't plan for this shot. I always shoot what my eyes see. Ashley was all ready to go for the ceremony and the bridesmaids started to pick up her dress. This moment I saw how the texture of the gorgeous veil and the lighting coming out from the window into that dark room to give a dramatic look en mood to this image.
This double exposure photo is actually around 6 shots. 1 shot of a silhouette and 5 different shots of a wall light at the wedding venue. It was a cool wall light and thought of something like this straight away.
I love that the couple have fun and complicity between them.
This photo was taken at tamil nadu ,while doing the pre-wedding photographs. At the time this location had low light structure .I felt it was best to make use of their silhouettes and light up the background object .
Run baby, run! These two lovers climbed a small hill and ran over it. I like the black and white style and the cut of the mountain with the sky!
Georgina & Peter's wedding was every kind of awesome! From the moment I arrived, it was a high octane pleasure to document and the shooting opportunities were in abundance.
Towards the end of the evening, I invited this gorgeous couple out for some sunset portraits (accompanied by Georgina's fun-loving brother). As my couple shoot, holding each other in a field behind their wedding venue I wanted to create a portrait that incorporated the spirit of the day, and then this idea came to me.
The rest, as they say, is history :)
At Boholt Hotel, Bury this is Mr & Mrs Blears celebrating their special day. The mood was set with the sun ready to close, capture and make most of the green pasture around the hotel
Saw this park with not much to it but when I looked up this hill and saw the light I knew my couples would love the final result even if they didn't like the walk to it! They are a photography couple so the end results sure outweigh the struggle to get there! As they say...we ill do anything to GET THE SHOT!
An October wedding at Cissbury Barns in West Sussex, UK. Anna and Daniel had popped out for a quick picture with the setting sun, but the best picture was as they walked to their spot. Unprompted Daniel took Anna's hand.
Laura and Ben exiting the church after their ceremony in Welwyn Garden City - to clouds of confetti!! I love this shot and the happiness that exudes from this awesome couple.
We had just finished taking a few couples photographs and were walking back to their reception.... I turned around and snapped this.
One of the best moments of a wedding is when the couple left the ceremony, is when they finally can celebrate their love with the love ones, and if you puts some bubbles, is the perfect moment for a picture.
This picture is getting from the couple shooting in the evening and the rings from the official wedding day. so my inspiration was to catch the pictures with the double exposure effect
When I met Ali before the wedding I told him that I'm going to take crazy shots of him and if he will be ready for it. "I'd love that." He said. This shot captured a lot of fun emotions and laughs from the groomsmen and bridesmaids around. He was scared to trust in his friends, but the expression he made was all about this photo. Everyone LOVED it.
That time when you head out after the wedding celebrations into the dark to create something special! Taken at Peckforton Castle, Cheshire.
I had an idea to capture these guys using a backlit umbrella between these two barns at the venue, and I choose to use the red and blue lights because they and myself are huge Star Wars fans, and I think it worked out very well.
Photographs of henna on the bride's hands often the most cliche photos. I wanted to do something different and better. So I asked her to take out her left hand further ahead to form the foreground and focused on her eyes. At the same time, I used foreground blur using fairy lights and tilt-shift lens for a narrow horizontal focus. The result came out to be stunning and the bride absolutely loved it. I posted this same photo instantly by transferring on my phone from the camera. I knew this was a winner.
I am always inspired by light.
The beautiful Greek light.
There is nothing like a beautiful sunset to end a day of perfect happiness!
