I’m a wedding photographer and videographer from a small market town called Ramsey in Cambridgeshire, and I love what I do. A wedding is a story shared between two people and each and every one of their loved ones. Every wedding - and every couple who go with it – is completely unique, and I make sure to capture all the little details and personal moments so that when you look back on the shots from your special day, it truly is an individual experience. During the big day, I like to take on a more understated approach when I can, as I often find that the best shots and clips are the natural and non-posed ones, where personality and emotion shine through. After we’ve spoken initially, I like to meet face to face where possible and discuss things over coffee (or beer, of course!) so that we have a chance to get to know each other a little and share some ideas!

I offer a comfortable and relaxed approach to photography, ensuring i put the clients needs first and helping to ensure you enjoy your wedding day. Based in County Durham, Dash Photography captures weddings throughout County Durham, Darlington, North Yorkshire, Tyne & Wear and Northumberland, and now by popular demand we are taking bookings for Cumbrian Weddings.

We are a fun loving husband and wife team who live in Yorkshire with our family and highly strung cat, Stuart. We offer a unique unposed storytelling style, documenting all the important moments as well as epic couple portraits, using our stunning signature lighting. Our wedding photography loves the light and colour as well as all the beautiful, funny and sweet moments. We won't ask you to do too much posing and we don't do any cheesy moments either. I'm slightly animal obsessed - dogs and cats, don't ask me to choose! I own too many house plants and I spend too much time binge watching Netflix TV series. I love colourful stuff, in particular the colour green and my photography will always reflect that! My approach to weddings is super chilled - I go with a fly-on-the-wall approach for most of the day although I prefer the term 'ninja'. Hello! I’m Declan West, a Welshman living in Manchester. I absolutely love creating beautiful images of happy couples on their special day. I always try to find a perfect balance of everything from natural to pose, to new techniques and hitting those classic photos.

Your wedding day is so much more than just a regular day in your life. It's a dream come true. I will do anything in my power to make it a fun and a memorable experience. I am sociable but not too visible, my eyes and ears are wide open to see all the small and big moments at the right place and times. HI I’M NIK! Proud Northerner and Boltonian. I live with my wife Laura, son Reuben and our little cat Tiger in our cosy home in Bromley Cross.I am a relaxed, chilled yet outgoing individual, which I feel has helped define my style for me. For the majority of the day myself and my second photographer will work in a very documentary style floating around, blending in and just capturing moments as they happen to keep everyone at ease. We will mingle and interact with friends and family which keeps everyone at ease. Be warned: we do get quite close just so when you look back over your images you get the feeling of being in the moment again. I haven’t been told off for it yet!

Enjoy! We take care of all the rest. Your wedding, a relaxed day of which you want to take in every second and enjoy without being interrupted by a photographer. This is something we understand very well, which is why we have perfected the art of blending in with your guests and make sure capture the whole day without being seen. "Within minutes we did not even notice you were there" is the compliment we hear often and it is something which makes us very proud! A tear rolling down your mother's or father's cheak? Your grandmother laughing so hard it hurts? We capture it all! We happen to have an extra sharp eye for emotions and capturing the moment. During photography we use humor and we do not stage anything. By now we have photogaphed over 300 weddings and there is one thing we are absolutely sure of: when you are enjoying yourselves we take the best pictures!
