Full time wedding photographer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
I combine documentary styled wedding photography with creative out-of-the-box posed images. Couples book me because they want their wedding photographed beautifully in the way it actually was, but at the same time also want a few of those images that really stand out due to their creativity.

This amazing couple trusted me to take wedding shots in the weirdest of places, such as here in the bathroom. It is awesome to have so much trust from clients that they are willing to let me take these kinds of shots :)
64th CollectionThis lovely couple got married in the mountains of Rio de Janeiro and had a wonderful outside wedding. Once the wedding ceremony was finished the were congratulated with rows of their friend and family on each side, that threw Rosemary leaves. Love the authentic emotions of this moment.
63rd CollectionThis lovely couple wanted to do the wedding shoot in an urban area of their home town. When walking around I saw this awesome red biking path, that I just had to incorporate into the image. The arrows and the reflection in the steel on the side adds extra strength to the image :)
63rd CollectionDuring the photoshoot, it was so windy outside that we had to find shelter in a local bar. This place created a fitting scene for one of my favorite shots of the day. Fun fact was that they actually had met in a bar, so this added extra meaning to the image.
62nd CollectionThis wedding on the island of Terschelling in the Dutch Waddenzee allowed for a short trip into the dunes. The dark cloud and the vast landscape create for a dramatic scene, which both the couple and myself absolutely loved :)
62nd CollectionAt sunset, we held a short photoshoot with this wedding couple. Taken in the city center of Woerden in the middle of the Netherlands, the light was just perfect for a beautiful silhouette shot with the church in the background.
61st CollectionJust after this couple got married we did a short shoot at the chapel where they had taken their vows. The light was just right and with a flash behind the bride and groom, we were able to complete the image :)
61st CollectionAt this location there were turning walls with mirrors which made for an awesome opportunity to have both the bride and the groom visible multiple times. It was however quite the challenge to not have the two flashes or myself in one of the reflections :) After a few tries we found the ideal angle which made for this image!
60th CollectionAt this beautiful location in Belgium this couple got married, so after the ceremony when the light was hitting the back of the chapel and the trees this way it was the most natural place to take a few portraits. Both the couple and me where very happy with the result! :)
60th CollectionThe lights in this building really stood out the moment we walked in. This couple was so great to work with, so taking the escalator a few times to get the perfect composition was no problem whatsoever :)
59th CollectionWe started this couple's pre-wedding shoot at their home. When I arrived I saw the amazing big windows with the trees in the reflection, so this idea came into mind. We are really happy about how it turned out!
59th CollectionThis wedding couple decided to get married in winter because all the important dates in their relationship had been in winter. They really wanted snow, but unfortunately, the weather was too high. So to get the winter-like feel they had a big snow machine outside their wedding venue. This, of course, was the perfect place for a photoshoot!
58th CollectionThis awesome couple took the time to walk through Amsterdam for an amazing shoot. I just love how the elderly women at the back are staring at what is happening. It really makes the image stand out! :)
58th CollectionThis winter wedding was set at The Boathouse venue which has beautiful lighting. Waiting for the twilight, this created the perfect backdrop for a romantic shot, just before dinner :)
57th CollectionAt the famous Hotel New York in Rotterdam, they have these great mirrors and a nice wall with a large world map on it. It seemed like the best place for placing the couple and getting a sense of where they are while creating some mystery as well.
57th CollectionThe rain did not keep this awesome couple from going for a nice stroll with their dog along the lake. Rain on the lens adds to the overall mood of the image, and gives it, in my opinion, an even more fairy tail like effect.
56th CollectionThis awesome couple was open for taking some non-standard shots during the photoshoot. The position is of them relative to the mountain peak and the way they hold hands gave something quite magical to the image. I, and more importantly the wedding couple, love how it turned out.
56th CollectionLate at the party, this amazing couple was still in for making a nice shot in the room next door where the ceremony was held. Adding a colored gel that matched the theme of the wedding added the extra nice twist to the image.
56th CollectionDuring this engagement shoot, this awesome couple fully trusted me to shoot on the strangest of locations. Adding some flash to make them pop really resulted in them standing out in this urban environment.
55th CollectionTaken on the wedding day in the public library. Using a mirror to create two times the lamps and adding a flash to light the couple created this effect where the wedding couple really stands out in the midst of the sea of lights.
