Forty-Third Collection

This photo was the last shot taken at Princeton University of Monalisa and William wedding. After I captured lots of photographs around and even at the same scene, I asked the newlyweds for one more last shot that I had in mind and they didn't mind it. I quickly grabbed a Godox AD200 with a Magsphere with full CTO gel, and I gave it to William to hold in his hand towards the door. In 2 mins I was able to get this shot with the beautiful sunset scene.

There is beauty in the eye of the storm! Luckily mother nature was nice enough to let this beautiful couple get married, get some formal photos in, and get ready for the reception before the rain came pouring down!

This photograph was taken at sunset in a postwedding in Suances (Cantabria) in northern Spain. I wanted to do a natural shooting and I told them to run on the water to look for the drops and the movement

This was a great wedding, where I took them to the attic of the castle, they had so much fun, as you can see the love splashing off their faces

I didn't have a plan of action but for Rachel & Adrian's portraits but it was important to me that I make at least 1 picture that showed this beautiful couple's joyful and wild personality. As we wondered back from shooting along a country lane I noted this textured background in a farmyard and then started playing with idea's and layers. I love taking on a creative challenge and making new pictures that challenge the idea of 'norm'...
Who said the groom's head has to be in shot anyway :)

This photo was taken in a little village in Holland. The factory used to be a milkfactory, but is now used as a residence and a shootinglocation. This loving couple didn’t need a lot of instructions, as they are madly in love with eachother.

This photograph was taken at my first wedding at a stonking new venue called 'Bromwich Park' in Shropshire UK. The venue is surrounded by lots of gorgeous farm land and fields for as far as the eye can see. To get this shot I was basically unglamorousy squatting in the ditch full of sheep and nettles! I decided to place the couple at the top of the incline so I could make the most of the gorgeous evening sky and quickly photograph the bride and groom not only lit with flash but silhouetted super quickly. I love placing my brides and grooms in areas where I can do that as I can get two completely different images in seconds and then let my couple get back to their party (or in this instance, let the groom join his groomsmen for a quick 'lets flash our bums in our kilts' photo) ;-)

Amor Sobre Ruedas - We remember the wedding of Manel and Montse with a lot of love, everything was perfect, the Le Meridien Ra hotel showed its best clothes for this celebration. This photograph was taken in the hotel's bicycle parking lot at a wonderful moment when our beautiful bride declared love for her husband.

Right after the first look we went to a nice location for the photoshooting. The groom arranged an awesome classic Ford Mustang. I captured this great moment in a split second when leaving the brides house.

I took the picture very spontaneously. I tried to reduce the distance between me and the bride and groom - the veil made the task much easier. There was no artificial setting here - I just asked them to hug ... and made me smile on the bride's face. The camera that I used was a Nikon D850 lens Nikkor 85 f / 1.4. Golden hour.

During the 1st dance the groom grabbed a hold of his wife and swung her round in the centre of the dance floor, the dress just flowed brilliantly and I froze the moment.

This photo was taken in the Church as Georgia and Louis were getting married. Monty (the dog) had been a little lively, wanting to be by Louis's side, and so Bella stepped across the aisle a stood next to him gently stroking his head as he sat next to the best man Tom. It seemed to calm Monty as they both watch on the proceedings, and it was a really sweet moment between the flower girl and the ring bearer.

Amazing couple. I won 3 Wedisson awards with them just because of their willingness and desire to get the best pics. When you have clients who values your talent and creativity, they definitely get the most beautiful photos.
Two hours before I took this picture, I broke a rib. The wedding was shot with a broken rib... The day was intense, the shooting lasted 10 hours.

Chris and Emma were an amazing couple and let me try anything on there wedding day. I’ve not shot at this venue before but it was absolutely amazing. This image was taken beneath a former railway bridge and the groom was holding the OCF with an orange gel pointing towards the wall. I love how the whole bridge is lit up.

In India, one of the biggest challenge is to find a good place without people. I went with the couple early in the morning to a park with the same intention. When we started the shoot at 730am, the park was lit by beautiful golden light of the rising sun. As I was photographing the couple, I saw this beautiful sunlight light peeking through the trees and immediately i knew i have to capture a dancing pose of the couple under the sun's golden spot light!

With the wedding reception I drove to a very nice location, an abandoned castle in Belgium. It was a luck, that we got the permission to make some shots of the couple shooting in the old dungeon. It was very dusty, because of the long time no one was there in this eerie room. An old rusty scold's bridle caught my eye, so I arranged the setting and because of the darkness I bounced the flash over the arched ceiling. It gives the picture a very funny meaning with the sticked tongue of the scold's bridle.

This shot was taken on the geometric staircases of the Panna Meena Ka Kund - a sixteenth century step-well located on Jaipur. In the picture Ridhish is wearing a traditional Indian attire and walking up on the higher stairs of the eight storey stepwell while Chandni, dressed in a red traditional suit is on the lower stairs. Although they're both standing apart, their body movements are coordinated and they are facing the camera and smiling. This aspect along with the criss-cross stair patterns, that although situated away have a certainty of arrangement within, sets this picture apart from other traditional wedding photographs where intimacy between the couple is encouraged.

Without any seeming effort these groomsmen made the groom fly really high. I had never seen a groom be this relaxed and enjoy this as much as he did. Love the expression on all the men's faces!
