We were blessed with this gorgeous sunset at the end of the day. This was a gorgeous late afternoon wedding in Charleston, South Carolina.

The Biltmore House in Asheville North Carolina in the background of this candid capture. At the end of our session on our way back to our cars, J decided he wanted photos of him swinging K around, and this was the result.

I was fortunate enough to be asked to document my brothers sweet wedding. Robert and Lisa were married on the first day of the new year, under one of our gorgeous grand live oaks, here in Charleston. Such a special day for both of them, and our whole family.

This magnificent oak tree sits on the bank of a tidal finger of the Horlbeck Creek next to Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. We don't get too many cold days in beautiful Charleston, but this was by far the coldest all winter and it even snowed (Which rarely happens here)! Tim and Julia were that fantastic couple every photographer dreams about, they were willing to do anything for the picture. We were finishing up the bride/groom part of the day, when Julia turns to me and says "I want to climb a tree". This is the incredible result. A portrait at sunset, that is uniquely theirs and captures their adventurous spirit perfectly. This is one of my all time favorite images and it hangs in my office in 36"x24"print in a giant gold gilded museum frame.
