Thirty-Sixth Collection
I love being at a wedding from start to finish because I never miss out on any moments from getting ready to the late night reception shenanigans! Love this getting ready shot. Most of the time the room doesn't allow for this type of layout and layers but glad it worked out!
This romantic kiss picture of a lovely couple was made during a winterwedding in February. I absolutely love the light when the sun is this low in the sky.
James and Julie tied the knot in the Canadian Prairies on the farm where Julie grew up. Their day was a beautiful celebration of love. It's beautiful to see James' dress uniform from the Canadian army alongside custom-made dress Julie wore. They perfectly incorporated their heritage into their wedding day. We love the striking clouds meeting the horizon of the plains centred on a simple kiss.
It was a wonderful sunny day. The magnificent bride Hope is spinning in a joyful dance. She is really happy and in love. Everything is perfect!
So much love with this couple. A wunderful day full of love and beautiful moments. I was so glad that they choose this venue as their photolocation. It’s an industrial former grainhouse and I just love it!
Divers, passionate about the sea, ocean lovers from birth, our Bride&Groom chose the charming Maldives with its crystal clear water to tie the knot.
This spontaneous shot reflects the Love and happiness that was felt on that amazing day
in this zoo which was very crowdy we only had a split second to make the shot without passengers passing by.
one of the brides friends stopped the passengers for a sec on the other side while i was screaming to the persons who wanted to enter the hall to give me a few seconds to make this photo.
one flash with grid on their faces, one in de back on the ground and this was the happy result :)
The bride specifically asked for a picture under the tree as she had seen a previous image of mine in this location (one that had also won a Wedisson Award) a year earlier. Happy to oblige i put a different spin on the same location and popped another great image!
A cool breeze and blue sky to frame the feelings rustling through lanky leaves. Something floats up across sealed lips. A whisper only for two.
I am a Miami based photographer, when I received a request for a Colorado winter wedding, I jumped at the chance. The night before the wedding the snow came down hard, it was amazing, everything was covered in white. This was a dream come true for a tropical weather photographer ;)
An unplanned photo session. It took almost 5 hours ride from our hometown. We just running out of time, because the traffic. It's a long-weekend-holiday! We only had an hour left to do the photoshoot in this location.
I'm not very sure we can get a good picture because the place it's so crowded. Then I saw those wall decorations, it attract me to do something about.
We had a day of constant wind and rain for Molly & Johnny's Stapleford Park wedding in October , and it really wasn't looking great for anything outside, but deep into the evening we had a small window of opportunity to grab this dramatic back-lit portrait of them both! The light helped them pop and also it helped highlight some of the rain drops falling - pretty pleased with it overall!
There is no place like New York City! Busy people running places, everyone has somewhere to go and something to do, while my newlywed couple doesn't see the world beside themselves ;)
This photo was taken on a beautiful early morning and for this wedding couple a special place in Zeeland (Holland). The sun was just rising and gave us these beautiful warm colors and warmed us little bit.
Kyle & Arselia are are old souls with a romantic southern love story. I wanted to capture this in their portraits, so I chose to photograph them along this old fence line and edit this photo in black and white for a timeless feel.
Thank you for this award. I love this photo and glad you like it too.
Captured outside The Amadeus in London for Fleur and Jamie’s winter wedding.
Fleur wanted a shot of her and her bridesmaids that was less formal and reflected their friendships.
It’s a simple shot but the colours, tones and expressions just tell the story perfectly for me.

When I received the first correspondence from Sloan asking if I would travel to Baltimore on a Tuesday in the middle of January to photograph a gothic themed wedding, I thought it was a total fraud. Then we FaceTimed and I knew they were real and indeed serious. They had seen other published work of mine where I photographed a gothic wedding and wanted me to be there for their special day. They planned this wedding for only about 8 guests; their nearest and dearest. The ceremony was short and sweet, only about 20 minutes. But it was filled with laughter and happy tears. It was a pleasure to be there for them to bring their vision to life.
Kate and Jonny got married at one of my favourite churches in Cheshire. Reverend Tim would make anyone go to church! After an entertaining ceremony, the couple's guests were really excited for the confetti shot and as the wind picked up an abundance of confetti came their way. Kate and Jonny reacted with these cracking expressions!
This was literally the last shot after a 3-day long and action packed wedding. The couple was just about to bid their families goodbye when I pulled them out for this shot and thankfully they obliged. This was the entrance to their reception and I had envisioned this shot right from when we entered the location. With the help of gels and flash modifiers I transformed this orange/pink walkway into a dramatic frame and created this silhouette. This wedding has some memorable frames but this one is my favourite.
Loving this shot taken right after Sonam & Shailen’s Hindu ceremony in the beautiful garden in Fennes Estate. What a romantic mix of Autumn colours!
Sunsets and a couple in love are a perfect combination! Moments after saying "I do" I sent this newlywedded bride and groom to the end of the pier located steps from their ceremony to share a few moments alone. I chose to shoot low and use their silhouettes to accentuate the mood and highlight the time of day while they softly clung to eachother.
A Tahitian wedding is always lot of emotion and joy !
We are glad to know well tradition of French Polynesia and to be part of capturing theses moments
Out in the middle of nowhere and after the sun sets, a circle of light, fire, love and passion guides me to your warm embrace and finally, i feel complete.
I’d seen the festoon lights outside Shustoke Barn before but for one reason or another I’d never used them for any photos so I asked if the bride and groom wanted to pop out for a couple of minutes for some evening portraits. It was a cold February evening so we didn’t stay outside for long but I’m pretty happy with how this shot came out!
Wedding day or maybe wedding night;) I'm talking to the groom - hey! give me your best friends - we go outside, but please take your phones with you. The picture was taken not far from the restaurant, and believe me that despite the late hour, they collaborated in a fantastic way;)
It was just a perfect day in Cuba where the sun was absolutely fantastic, offering the best light we could imagine! That specific shot was taken on the white sand beach where the ceremony took place. It was minutes after the wedding and on our way to the reception. I absolutely love to look at Valerie and Yanick faces. Valerie's excitement is palpable and I'm sure the smile on Yanick's face is just him seeing and feeling that same thing! What a great couple and a fantastic day to remember for them and for me as well! ;)
Nearing the end of the night Rachael and Dan came outside for a quick sneak out. I had a whip pan shot in mind and this was the result.
The couple had just sat for their wedding breakfast, so I walked to the bar along this corridor. That is when I saw the potential. It was just about setting it up and as it was a long corridor and I wanted to keep then distance behind. I am a huge fan of symmetry and after straightening up the lampshades I placed the couple half way, just in front of the arch, and just backlit them with OCF - I used my phone to reflect the ceiling detail and lampshades.
Rahul & Upasna. What a big fat wedding it was in Mauritius. Simplicity in the most glamorous decor. The couple wished to have a post-wedding photo shoot in one of the most beautiful hotels of Mauritius. Love the interior of the hotel. Here is the result among the many other beautiful artworks
Masahiro & Risa, a charming and friendly couple, had a wedding at St. Catalina Seaside Chapel. The chapel is located at the most beautiful place in East Oahu, Hawaii. After the ceremony, the couple gave families and friends leis and heart-shaped sunglasses. They did make a photo shooting much sweeter! They asked bride more kisses many times! Groom burst out laughing! It was the time that I took the unforgettable moment on their Big Day:)
