Hi! I'm Wim (or William in English), I was made in 1982 and I'm a professional wedding photographer from Belgium. My homebase is Nazareth, near Ghent.
I'm married to the best and prettiest woman in the universe. Together we have 2 (sometimes adorable) daughters.
You can describe my style as 'storytelling'. I don't like to pose my couples, but I have a special eye for the little moments at their big day. Only during the couple session I like to give them some guidelines but for me it's very important to keep it spontanious.
When I'm 'working' (I hate that word, it should be 'having fun') at a wedding, I'm always looking for exceptional spots at the location to take an 'award winning worthy' picture.
Winning photos
In Antwerp there is a museum in the harbor that has a beautiful wall outside with a glass seiling. As the sun came from behind the clouds, it was the perfect moment to take this picture.

This photo was shot at an old abbey in Koksijde (Belgium) who is now a museum. I just love the old brick wall!
The couple was enjoying a tender moment just after they got married.
This was taken on top of the staircase in an old factory. The semetrical lines of the stairs are framing the couple in the middle of the picture.

As we saw the tree was lit beautifully with a gardenlight at the bottom, this moment was just perfect tot have 2 minutes of intimacy and relaxation before the first dance.

First of all, I want to thank this kick-ass couple for doing everything I suggested. Not many brides or groomes would have the guts to lay outside on a wooden floor in their beautiful dress or suit.
As we saw dark clouds come nearby, we knew we had to take this photo immediatly without any hesitation. On a windy day it was very hard to keep the drone steady. It started to rain moments later...
