I have a real passion for delivering beautiful images that reflect the authentic, heartfelt emotions of a wedding.
I document the day in a relaxed manor, picking up on all the key moments, whilst capturing all the fun and humour as it unfolds
I really thrive on making the most of the natural landscape, I’m a sucker for a large moody sky or a stunning starlit evening, not to mention the magic of the golden hour, chasing light is a must at any wedding

On a crisp November evening, the stars beamed down bright. Jess & John were all for heading out into the dark to capture some creative images, so no need for persuasive measures to pull them off the dance floor.
For this image, I had to find a location with limited ambient light. I used a tripod, with my camera set to a 2-second exposure to bring out the stars, I then lit the couple with a burst of flash and this was the end result. :)

Deep into summer when golden hour is at its best, I held out till the last minute, which at times can be a risk, but on this occasion, it paid off, what an evening for Hayley & Charlie. It was so good we even got the whole bridal party out into the fields after having some fun in this gorgeous light.

Lottie and her bridesmaids were a barrel of laughs all day long, being a winter wedding I had to move fast before the laughter wore off, so short, sharp spells of banter worked well.

Irnham Hall looks stunning by day, but especially by night. Just after dusk I took Heather & Jim out for some evening portraits, trying to get them to hold their position for my 1-second exposure proved a bit tricky, mainly due to a few too many shandy’s, but I managed to nail a couple of shots before I let them head back to the party.
58th CollectionAnita & Luke really wanted a sunset shoot, minutes before we planned to leave the cloud rolled in, but I assured them we can still get some moody effects. Then the rain came, they embraced the downpour full of smiles and laughter.
57th CollectionEmma & Adam's wedding day certainly was a wet one, so I knew when night fell I needed to produce something extra special for them both. This composition caught my eye, I used the fairy lights to lead into the image, and with a small pop of flash from behind and to their faces we came up with this.
56th CollectionIt was the hottest day of the year, so by the time sunset came around everyone was a lot happier. Lee’s Dad’s old truck proved to be a great prop; I had this image in my mind all day and just had to wait for the sun to get lower for the full effect. This pair added the final touch.
55th CollectionJess and Jon were one of those couples that just wanted to take photos all day long, great for me. At dusk I came this composition that I loved, without hesitation they followed my lead, a few twirls later we came up with this.
55th CollectionAs soon as I arrived at Scrivelsby Walled Garden I noticed this composition and thought to myself, this has potential.
Experiencing some very extreme weather conditions throughout the day, the skies cleared for Sarah & Rob in the evening, producing a beautiful array of stars. Everything lined up perfectly, I added a little burst of flash from behind and within a matter of minutes we came up with this.
It was tipping down outside but Abbie and Dan had complete faith in me when I said ‘you won’t get wet’ Well maybe they did just a little, but it was worth it. It was a DIY marquee wedding, so we had to make the most of the festoon lighting, add a little rain and a wonderful couple and this was the result
