Fifty-Seventh Collection
Anita & Luke really wanted a sunset shoot, minutes before we planned to leave the cloud rolled in, but I assured them we can still get some moody effects. Then the rain came, they embraced the downpour full of smiles and laughter.
It was a really hot day in Germany in summer 2019, too hot to get married, however, the bride & groom looked perfect and it was an awesome wedding:-)
7.12 in Estonia. Hoped to have a nice snowy photoshoot on that day but unfortunately, the weather had other plans. So I took an opportunity to create something in full darkness. I used my assistant's help to light up the bride and groom by setting a flash behind them with yellow gel color and placed them in the center to make a symmetrically balanced photo.
vintage cars, rural scenery, and two newlyweds in love, the perfect setting for a romantic and scenographic shot at the same time. shot was taken with 105 mm f 1.4 lenses.
What a great couple! We had lots of fun that day and went from rain to an nice evening sun. We ended it with a bike ride, to a beautiful life together.
The narrative of any ceremony is driven mostly by the couple's choices. They pick the location, the readings, and the vows. Often I try and move that narrative along with images that are slightly more creative, but still, help put the ceremony in context for the couple. Here, a simple reverse perspective combined with a well-timed tear was all it took. This was shot at 85mm at f1.8 on a Sony a9.
Taken in the eye of the mother of all storms.."Storm Ali" rapidly approached Ireland on the 18th of September. Megan & Sean were nothing short of amazing as they braved the elements during the day. Thankfully storms create thy most wonderful light and ended up being a day filled with many awesome images.
Location: Ballymagarvey Village -Ireland
This is a picture taken in the center of Tokyo.
The elegance of the photos is matched to the atmosphere of the couple.
I used EOS 5Dmk4, EF16-35 2.8 lens, GODOX AD200 flash, MAGMOD diffuser
An unexpected afternoon for a post-wedding where in principle the idea was another. The sea, sometimes, gives you incredible images: we were able to make the most of the patience of this incredible couple, Alan & Mari, with the elegance they gave us and the beauty of the waves breaking on the rocks, an unexpected postcard.
I love to capture fun, moments and emotion at weddings. This wedding was brilliant, they had there owned custom made beer pong table and they were about to start playing so for the first thrown I sipped out the 14mm and boom. Image heaven.
At the famous Hotel New York in Rotterdam, they have these great mirrors and a nice wall with a large world map on it. It seemed like the best place for placing the couple and getting a sense of where they are while creating some mystery as well.
Ireland isn't best known for good weather, in fact, more often than not it's wet, windy and wild. Here is a prime example of that, but it didn't stop my amazing couple getting out in the rain and just embracing it. They look so in love and in the moment.
I had been looking forward to this wedding because I always wanted to go to this special location. In the heart of the Netherlands: Pandhof. Everything on this location breaths fairytale, made me think of Lord of the Rings. The light is so soft and warm, very romantic. I enjoyed this shoot very much. I love to come back!
You may hold my hand for a while, but you hold my heart forever. What a great thing to capture the love between people! Thank you Weddison!
Can we throw the bouquet she says? Yes, no problem I said. 40 minutes later and the sun has gone down. Eh... let me whip out the flashes. Job Done. Needless to say, the bride was amazed and happy.
