Twenty Second Collection
Giovanni and Janel contacted me the day after the got engage not matter that their wedding will be a year and half after. They want to be sure I can cover that important day of their lives. Janel is a very that kind of bride with that particular expression on her face and Giovanni is the real gentlemen the one you cannot see so often these days, he is the perfect match for her. His eyes just have the sparks when they look each other. They are the kind of couple that shows everyone how much they want to be together of their live.
He made the pre wedding session 3 month before of the wedding day due to Giovanni lives overseas and he came to the Dominican Republic where we planned the photo-shoot. That day just was PERFECT, with some rain but we love that way.
With them was so easy to be the real dreams storytelling with each of one of their images.
Post-wedding in Torredembarra (Catalonia)
A beautiful sunset to capture a sweet moment with the just married couple Juanra and Elisabeth, their love brings to life the photos, you never know when you will have one of the best photos until the time comes, grateful for the commitment made by the couple and how easy it was to work this day, once again they are part of my beautiful wedding photos collection, thank you for being you.
It is a common belief that the darker the color the mehndi leaves on the hands of the bride, the more she will be loved by her husband. This colorful moment was captured using a Canon full-frame during the Pithi ceremony of this multi-day Indian wedding. And we have to agree: Roshni and Vip are not only a stunning couple, their love for each other runs as deep as this gorgeous design showcased on the palms of Roshni’s beautiful hands.
Fernelle really wanted a ‘tossing bouquet’ picture, and thankfully all her bridesmaids weren’t married off so we decided to make it an extra special moment featuring all of her best friends. We only had one chance to get it right so timing and position was very important to capturing this incredible beautiful moment. I found some amazing light with a blank green backdrop and set the picture up. Everything aligned perfectly and this is the resulting shot!
Lorraine and David had a festival style wedding in a field near their house in Leicestershire, England. It was the hottest day of the year so everyone was drinking to keep hydrated.... Not sure what these girls were drinking but I think it was laughing juice....
This shot is from a pre wedding shoot we did for Michelle + Evan. The day of the shoot was raining all day, mainly just a fine mist of rain and the sky was completely grey. We LOVE shooting in the rain, but not all couples are happy about getting wet, so, we offered the couple to swap their shoot to a different day. Our bride to be had gone and had her hair and makeup done specially for the shoot so we decided 'the show must go on'. They were quite worried about whether they would get great photos, we assured them that the rain would not affect the shoot, in face they would get shots even more amazing than without rain.
They absolutely LOVED the end result. This shot was taken right at the end of our shoot, they were, by now, pretty wet, so we had them play in the stream. We asked them to kiss with as much passion as they could muster and this is what came from that - gorgeous.
He is a baker and made his own weddingcake. She is a teacher and her class of children welcomed them at the party venue. This day in autumn was so special for this couple. Not only because it was their wedding day, but also because they love nature so much. When we approved this forest, I was thrilled by this light and just had to have this picture.
This December was my first Winter Wedding which took place at the most beautiful little castle in Ewijk, The Netherlands (Slot Doddendael). I met the couple one month before their wedding at the wedding location were we went through the details of their day. During this conversation we were sitting in this beautiful room and i instanly saw some oppurtunities for their wedding shoot. The day of their wedding was very relaxed and we even had a beautiful winter sun present. The exact words of the couple were: Lets get married in December so we don't have to worry about the weather.. they got the most beautiful winter day they could have hoped for! It was an amazing first winter wedding experience, loved it !
Timothy and Andrea were the sweetest couple! They were constantly in quiet silent conversation with each other and throughout the day it was clear by looking at them that they had both found their soul mate. We ended up near the University in Saskatoon and used this little park to do some shots while the sun was shining on them perfectly! It was a beautiful day!
The couple really wanted a picture with the 'Love' sign.
The sign was positioned right behind the top table on a tiered seating area, so there was very little room to do much. I moved the chairs away from the table and positioned the couple at the end. I made a composite by keeping the couple still and flashed them in several places. I also multiple exposed over the sign to add foreground interest.
Ellie and Mat married just before Christmas and we knew the weather would be unpredictable... Shortly after the ceremony the rain came and just kept on coming, so we had to resort to doing their portraits inside. The couple had chosen a festive wedding because the loved the warm and cosy feel of the season so while I was sat in this empty dining room having my dinner, I decided to light the candles and set this shot up. Ellie and Mat were happy to nip out after pudding to shoot this before the speeches and I think it captures the drama and romance of their venue as well as all the things they loved about the time of year.
I was shooting my beautiful couple in the lobby of the hotel where they had their ceremony when I saw this incredible wine cellar. I quickly dragged my couple into the cellar and blasted them with light from behind. I just loved how the backlight showed the amazing curves of my amazing bride and the detail of the wine racks. Shot with Canon 6D, Canon 24-70 f/2.8 L II and used two Yongnuo YN 685 flashes with the Yonguo TX 560 transmitter. ISO 1000, f/3.5, shutter 1/100
Julie and Mike were married at Thornton Manor in September and had a confetti cannon and ice smoke. This was taken during their first dance watched on by their friends and family who had been surprised by the confetti and smoke. A great first dance and an even better wedding.
