Yu-Jing Chiu Taichung (Taiwan) KE STUDIO @krischiu.tw

This photo was shot in central Hong Kong. The intention of this photo was meant to tell the newly-weds that life as a journey, it has detours, turning up and down but it is important to take each step at a time. That’s the truth behind marriage and eventually, it will reach to the top, a better life. I hope their story of life will portray it to their ideal. Show more

Pavel Gomzyakov Odessa (Ukraine) @pavelgomzyakov

The photo shows the beautiful dance of the bridal couple. Tatiana Bride flies into the arms of her Michael. Sunset sky and wonderful nature of Crimea are the perfect backdrop to this action! Their love is full of vivid colors and aromas of wild flowers! Show more

Julian Garcia Barcelona (Spain) Julian Garcia Fotógrafo @juliangarciafotografo

País Vasco (Basque Country) (Spain) Water, mountain, sea, clouds, and there they are, standing under the wooden structure, in love with each other since the first day. I love these moments where, they are the only attention when you look at the picture. The end of a post-wedding, we enjoyed ourselves like kids, and made this day a special moment to remember forever. Show more

This photo was taken at Ca’ d’Zan in Sarasota FL. Nataliya is the ‘ideal’ bride for a photographer. She was always so completely trusting in our ability and in our creative visions, in fact she often referred to us as the ‘visionaries’. Living up to such expectation is a challenge that is very rewarding! When we found these banyan trees at Ca’ d’Zan, we knew that it would be the perfect setting for our couple! Nataliya and David are incredibly elegant and sexy people and we wanted to show that in the picture. What better setting for such bride and groom than the look of a 'deep jungle'! Show more

Kaisu Ojansivu Tampere (Finland) Kaisu Ojansivu Photography @kaisuojansivu

A beautiful couple, Sanna and Daniel, celebrated their wedding in the lovely Small Palace in Tampere, Finland. The wedding day was beautiful and the guests spent time in the garden as well. I took a picture of a little girl and her father going down the stairs into the garden. I fell in love with the picture, and suggested we take a similar picture with the newlyweds. They were excited and that is how this picture came to life. Show more

When Sean met Ashley, it started a life of adventure and love. They wanted to carry that excitement into the wedding of there dreams in Kona, Hawaii. As a photographer who embraces personal traits about couples and lives with a huge drive for travel I was over the moon to join them in paradise. We explored all over the island, photos on cliff sides, in the rainy hills, then it came time to shoot in the lava fields. The thrill of climbing into a collapsed lava tube looking up into the sky at that beautiful couple was a highlight of my shooting career. It was the greatest day of all our lives! Show more

The location for Lauren and Nic's wedding was at the National Glass Centre in Sunderland, UK. I had never shot a wedding there before and was really looking forward to it. On the roof of the building, there are glass panels that I knew would make some nice reflections. For this image, we had just started a portrait session inside as the weather wasn't great. Then the weather broke and a beautiful sunset started to show. We went straight onto the roof and the timing was perfect. The sun was just showing between two buildings as it set. The reflections and the stunning sunset almost makes you feel like we had left the UK for some tropical destination. The way the couple is looking at each other really shows their love in this beautiful image. Show more

Nelis Engelbrecht Capetown (South Africa) Nelis Engelbrecht Photography @nelis_engelbrecht

This Picture was taken in Geelbek Nature Reserve in the beautiful Western Cape of South Africa. It was late December and a beautiful sunset displayed the perfect backdrop to capture the love of this special newlywed couple. The little sea breeze just complimented the wedding dress. Show more

Ane Hagen Perth (Australia) Ane Hagen Photography @anehagenphotography

Rebecca & Paul decided to have their photos taken in the morning before their ceremony at the Perth registrar's office. We went to Perth's gorgeous Kings Park and I captured this sweet moment as the sun filtered through the trees to bathe the couple in gorgeous rays of light. They were such joy to work with, bubbly, relaxed, excited and comfortable in each others presence. Show more

Love is a feeling too difficult to define. When it’s true, it is one of the most powerful things in the world. It seemed only fitting that we portrayed this at one the most powerful decors of the earth. We took it at Skogafoss in Iceland on a very cold, but beautifully sunny morning. I love how the colors of her jacket, the waterfall and the snow comes back into the rainbow we had due to the mist of the waterfall. Show more

The first time I saw a photo taken through a crystal ball I knew - I have to implement it in my wedding photography work. It was so darn cool and gives a whole new perspective to the world! I had Hilla's dad hold the ball for me, which I find symbolic because it's as though he is carrying her to her wedding ceremony. With a gorgeous bride and backdrop to go along it all came together!
P.S. No manipulation was done in post processing. Show more

Benjamin Brette Paris (France) Bphoto.fr @benjamin_brette_bphoto.fr

I took this image at Clemence and Nicolas’s wedding. It was the second time I came to this venue and had noticed the 1st time this big room in the chateau, with these orange lights on the ceiling. At night, I ask the couple to come with me to make an indoor night picture. I exposed for the highlights, flashed the couple with 2 strobes and use my phone to create the reflection of the ceiling. And that’s it ! 2 minutes later they were back with their friends and family in the diner’s room. This represents the kind on image I really like to make : playing with the available lights to create something that looks unreal and magical. Show more

Like a dream within a dream, it was a scintillating experience to orchestrate this silhouette shot of the lovely couple Karthik & Shravya, with Sony A7 II. It is always intriguing when we place art on the center stage and take time to bring out the best of the moment. We were at the ITC Grand Chola. Surpassing the normal spots, I found a passageway to a cellar/bar that had all the ingredients for a dramatic image—symmetric, lit arches, patterned walls and a mysterious glass door with patterns at the far end. I could have settled for a “well-lit” image with the couple properly exposed—but that wasn’t my vision. I wanted to make a breathtaking image that highlighted the beauty of the walls, the lights and the arches, and the interesting door—besides drawing interest to the couple. With a single speed light and lots of excitement, I tried this shot. I wanted to bring out the mystic feel of love. It did come out well in the end. Show more

Amy Barton Manchester (United Kingdom) Amy B Photography @amybpics

I travelled up to Scotland for Lucy and Dougie’s wedding and this shot was taken around the impressive Linlithgow Loch. All the elements just seemed to align when I pressed the shutter - the clouds, the bird in the centre of the frame, the light and, most importantly, the couple! Such an amazing location with a pretty awesome couple - I’m glad this shot does it all justice! Show more

Eilidh Robertson Edinburgh (United Kingdom) Eilidh Robertson Photography @eilidhrobertsonphotography

This photo was taken outside Fyvie Castle in Scotland, as Lauren and Peter were waiting to greet their evening guests. Lauren's nieces absolutely loved playing with the train on her wedding dress and kept asking her to go for a walk so they could carry the train of her dress. The little girl on the left kept singing a traditional Scottish song called Mairi's wedding, but replaced the name Mairi with Lauren, as they were walking she was singing at the top of her voice "Step we gaily on we go, Heel for heel and toe for toe, arm and arm and row on row, all for Lauren's wedding" every time I see this photograph I can hear the little girl proudly singing this song! When Samuel and Alba told me they wanted a post wedding session in Madrid, I couldn't be happier. To work with such a nice couple and in the city where I was born is a privilege, but a challenge too. This photo was taken in one of the main streets of Madrid, in fact its name is "Gran Via" - great way - we had to deal with the traffic and the people, but luckily everything worked fine and I could capture a beautiful look and smile that reflects their love in a great scenario. I had a chance to shoot this wedding at Lugano & Locarno, Switzerland near Italian border with a local renowned photographer. While she took the forefront, I was comfortable shooting from a distance. This magic moment happened just after the wedding when the couple was proceeding for their reception party. Love and happiness floated in the air as the happy crowd and blessed couple let the colorful balloons uplift in the vast sky. The perfect upbeat frame was shot from afar. Show more

Arjan Barendregt Rotterdam (Netherlands) Arjan Barendregt Fotografie @arjan.barendregt.photography

The wedding of this lovely couple, Devid and Marjolein, started rainily. We planned to shoot the wedding in the park in Rotterdam. Because of the weather we went out to the beautiful location Wereldmuseum in Rotterdam. This location looks like a tremendous ballroom with big windows and beautiful chandeliers on te ceiling. This was the first room we visited. On our way to the next room, we took the elevator and the second time this stairway. I rushed up the stair, hopefully, to take a picture of the couple climbing the stair hand in hand. It really went differently: Devid and Marjolein were going their own way on the stair. And as you see, Devid was a lot quicker. I looked through my camera from above and asked them to stop and look to each other on the other floor when I saw this composition. This result we all liked!
