Ninth Collection
The morning of the wedding day the bride came to a lot of her bridesmaid. So, in order not to miss is the bride preparing for the wedding, we organized them photography, which was filmed the whole story about the morning girlfriends. Girls having fun and posing with pleasure, and I have a lot of fun shots in the portfolio.
Set in one of the most romantic places in all of New York, this amazing couple decided to take some elegant photos in Central Park. We freeze time through a point of view that makes us look at an image so we can feel like we are the ones in a picture.
At the end of our story dating in Piazza San Marco he started the tide so we took the opportunity to make a reflection in the water.
Mitoo & Atilla came from Germany to have their dream wedding on the beach. This was a very special couple for me and the bar was raised quite high as the groom is a very good wedding photographer in Germany. I was quite tense and anxious, but as soon as I met them my worries faded quickly because they were very laid back and had extremely easy going personalities. The ceremony was one of the most emotional ones I have witnessed, especially for the groom J. It was such a lovely day, everyone was super relaxed, with guys playing football, a delicious barbecue and even dips in the pool. This was the funniest group of guests ever and everyone just had such a great time and those emotions came out really well in the picture.
Chelsea & Tripp’s wedding was my ideal wedding. An intimate affair in the Highlands of North Carolina. We hiked up to Sunset Rock in the Highlands for these sweet couple’s photos and the wind was simply perfect. These two had wonderful chemistry and I just let the mood the take over. I thought Chelsea’s dress was one of the most beautiful I had ever seen.
If I would chose any wider lens on this shot, there might be a rainbow visible on background. But I had to choose better angle so the old and crappy railway station is hidden and composed outside of this picture ;)
This couple was so in love and I noticed from the early beginning, that this story is real and they are meant to be with each other. When we came to this location, it rained a lot and when we leaved, it rained again. So there was some high level forecast lord with us, thank you!
This very passionate Portuguese couple got married in the beautiful countryside just outside of Lisbon @quintadoconvento, a venue rich in history and breathtaking views of vineyards and green fields that surround the property and make exceptional backgrounds for any photo shoot. At the end of the day just as the sun begins to set, we took the couple into the fields for a romantic session, and the result was truly amazing. The reflection of the leaves on the brides chest caught my eye and so I aimed to catch the effect naturally without interfering with their moment together yet capturing the overall synergy of silence, romance and above all their personalities engaging with the surrounding nature.
The beautiful and passionate Norwegian couple, Henriette & Axel, choose Portugal for their wedding, after having visited the country several times.
The wedding took place at Cidadela Historic Hotel in the amazing village of Cascais.
The photograph was taken immediately after they say yes.
Therefore, it is a spontaneous and raw image with all the meaning of wedding itself.
Magical private wedding (2 couples friends and me) in ice chapel. It was just +2 degrees in the wedding week in Lapland Finland but at the next week there were -27 celsius. We were lucky to get nice weather. Daylight at December in Lapland is only 2 hours. This shot is lit with flash behind the couple.
The photo was taken when the wedding was finishing. I tell to the couple that i was finishing the work and leaving home. But i see the Drinks sign and i tell them to go behind the bar. They didnt understand why, but they go and start talking and dancing. Until the groom kneel down and said something to his wife, so she kneel down too and the shot was maid.
This photograph is taken in an abandoned convent, of which only the tower remains, is located in high mountains and access is only on foot with a walk of one hour. Its location is in the province of Avila, Spain. Near the hometown of the bride. It is surrounded by nature with scenery and stunning views.
This was a very hectic getting ready in a beautiful & colorful Swiss-Italian villa. The bride was very nervous before the ceremony and all her friends were helping her and supporting her while she was getting prepared. In the back you see the bride's best friend who always stood close to her. I wanted to show the tension & support in the atmosphere in a very subtle & misterious way. Thus I stood behind them for a while waiting for that magic moment to appear in front of my lens.
It was one very hot and sunny day in France. The heat was 32C, so we had no chose, but to look for shadows all the time. In some ways we were very lucky as people stayed at home as it was to hot, so we were able to take such a wonderful shots in empty streets on Grenoble mountain's town views. Amazing time with amazing people:) Bride Helene and groom Bastien were one of those couples when you look at them and feel the love all over the place. Such a happy and wonderful people. I enjoyed photographing them and can't thank them enough for the possibility to work with them.
Amie & Elliot got married in an old school house in the forest which unsurprisingly is called Old Forest School. Amie arrived in an amazing 1965 Mercedes which has only ever had one owner so we took an opportunity to go for a post ceremony cruise through the woodland roads

Destination weddings inspire the most romantic shots! This was captured this summer in Cyprus!
This couple were amazing from the very start and have become friends to me. With hearts that would fight off any adversity to ensure their love came out on top. The photo was taken at the bride’s home. She grew up on a farm in a little rural town called Woodslee. It was the perfect setting for romantic and relaxed photos. With the bride and groom is Lily, one of the family’s horses. She was so curious what we were doing, she had to bring herself nice and close. Making for a memorable photograph
This couple is so kind and nice, on their weddingday we had so much fun.
This picture is taken in a small town called Wijk bij Duurstede and is near Utrecht. Just a small old street and I was standing against a wall, between a bush full of nice orange berries. Dennis and Marjon are so in love with eachother, and that shows on this picture. It was not a sunny day on their weddingday, it was sometimes a little bit chilly and windy, but they keep eachother warm. I was so glad to be the photographer on their big weddingday. I love these guys!
I love the tradition of throwing rice after a wedding ceremony. Unfortunately it is forbidden in a lot of places in the Netherlands. Most of the times people are blowing bubbles or toss rose petals. So having the opportunity to photograph people throwing rice is very rare. That's why I really love this picture, where bride Xenia and some of the wedding guests are literally pelted with rice.
Serine and Tarek's had their wedding photo-shoot session in a magical place at the lowest point on earth, the Deadsea. It was one of the hottest days of the year, she had to bare a wedding gown and move and dance in it and had to survive in a tuxedo and a bow tie. they both were agitated, I tried to sooth them down and take away the agitation and the result was this, a reflection of the beautiful couple happily and madly in love and showing everyone including them how perfect they are for each other.
I took this photograph on the Makeup session of the bride. When we got home and saw the photograph of the lips on the wall I knew I had to find the time that the lips could paint the bride to make this photo. What I like most is the color, the red room and the red lips that I think makes the picture work better.
This was the wedding of Rajshri and Rakesh from the Netherlands. Rajshri and Rakesh married two times! The first day was the Hindu ceremony wedding en the second day was the reception.
The picture was made at the first dance at their reception. This couple is very sweet and after being the photographer for two long days, they become quicky very good friends.
After making some pictures from the ground, I moved tot the second floor to tweak my flash. While making soms testshots, this moment happend!
The wedding was a big wedding with almost 400 people. I like that kind of weddings because of the many story’s at the day like this one.
At this wedding we were with a very nice couple Erna and Michel in Rijssen, a small village in the east of the Netherlands.
Erna is a teacher and her class was invited to the reception. Just before leaving I asked Erna and Michel to kiss each other. The reaction of the children in the old schoolbus was priceless.
Kalia and Philip wanted something different for their beloved session. After hours of searching online for a unique location in California. We found the perfect backdrop that fit the couple perfectly. I scouted the area and found a really cool inlet in the Castles Tower and this was the result.
This photo is part of the Trash the Dress photoshoot, done with Sandra and Fábio, after their dream wedding.
As they are adventurous and both love sailing and yachting, this photoshoot actually happened in the middle of Tagus River, Lisbon. The scenery was perfect! As Bride and Groom were.
Olivia and Matthieu married at Dartmouth House in London this summer, as all their guests spilled out onto the road after the ceremony I noticed that they were lining themselves up along the path for the couples confetti exit, but I also noticed that if they lined up on the other side of the door we would avoid the ugly scaffolding and the light would be perfect, as they would be gently backlit. I tend not to direct many shots on the wedding day, but this was just one of those situations where I knew it would be worth a small nudge in the right direction and it would be appreciated in the long run. I am so pleased the confetti sequence turned out so well.
This photo was taken at Ashridge House which is nestled in National Trust woodland in the rolling Chiltern Hills in England. The couple & I arrived to the venue just ahead of the guests and as we walked in the house the sunlight burst through a window onto the stairs. I knew I had to get a shot of the couple on that spot and it ended up one of my favourite shots from this special day & also in 2015.
La Seu Vella Cathedral, Lleida (Spain).
Andrés and Sara are one of those couples that convey love is in their eyes, in every look.
In these moments, I try that they stand out in the picture and therefore I carry my inseparable Profoto B1.
It's a picture that I have no thought no prepared; it was accidentally we went through that corner, and I decided to exploit the creativity (that's the key of my work). The mix of what is old as the cathedral and the new as the recent married couple is something that I find fascinating , a picture is worth a thousand words.
Thanks to Wedisson Award for giving me the opportunity to be part of what I consider the best wedding photographers in the world.
Thanks to Andrés and Sara because without them I would not be writing these words today .
I love photography and especially wedding photography .
This couple loves each other. We walked in Sydney Royal Botanic Garden. My attention was attracted by a huge tree, its unshakable strength in comparison with a man shocked me. Only the power of the human relations can be compared with the power of nature. They were alone under the canopy of trees.
Imagine you shoot this beautiful couple. Imagine she is this irresistible Italian beauty, and he is this ultimate Latin. Imagine the passion they are sharing. And how stunning they both look on their D-day. And now imagine it starts pouring with rain…
If you thought these two would fear the rain, you would be wrong. If you thought they would project less love and passion to the world around them, you would be wrong too. And if you thought they wouldn’t have fun together in the rain, again you would be wrong. «Singin’ in the rain» was written for this couple.
Their smiles, their laughter, their love was only magnified by the dramatic skies and Leman Lake (Switzerland) scenery. My favorite rainy-day-bride-and-groom will have fun till death does them part.
This engagement session was one of my all-time favorites. My bride and groom wanted it to feel like a date night out on the streets of Salt Lake City. We had just finished taking photos along the tree-lined streets in the Avenues and were packing up when the street lights turned on for the night. It was totally worth getting everything back out again to get this image!
