Ninth Collection

Whilst everybody was in the garden waiting for the ceremony to begin, I went back into the house to find the bride: In my mind, photographic opportunities often spring up where you least expect it. I came across this scene of the bride sharing this tender moment with her mother.

Amin is an air force pilot from his country's fighter squadron and the couple wish was for their photos to represent what he loves to do most, to fly.
I took a glance at this picturesque airplane and immediately they got into the role, a safe return from a mission, to Cristina his beautiful and loving bride.
The moment was emotional, full of meaning and hope. The frame captured the beauty of it.

The details and emotions captured at the right moment is my passion. I mean wedding photos. So you can see right on this picture. Here I catched the moment when a bridesmaid and a close friend family helped the bride put on the dress. To show the bride's nerves while waiting for the groom it was made in a dramatic style.

Artem and Esenija are very unusual couple so it was hard to find an interesting place for them. The nature of our coumtry is famous for its forests and lakes, but these mountains were created by human beings. Perhaps it's one of the most unusual photos of mine and it was taken in the area of Chemical plant. An incredible space, frozen trees and cracked earth - all theses are dead beauty.

Wadi rum in Jordan is one of the most beautiful natural places on earth. It's not surprising that most sci-fi movies that are set on Mars end up being shot there. It has an other-worldly look and feel to it. I have been trying to convince a couple to come with me on this shoot for a little over a year. Wadi Rum is a 3.5 HR drive away from the capital Amman and deep In the desert. The mountains and rock formations are not exactly an ideal situation for a bride in high heels and a mobility hindering wedding dress.But luckily, Farah and Bilal were as excited about this as I was and equally as crazy. The entire experience was a lot of fun. One glorious thing about the area is the endless blanket of stars and that was something that we had to capture. The bride was such a rockstar because it got extremely cold at night and desert cold is dry and goes through the bone, but she pushed through it until we got what we wanted.

This moment was captured during Hannah and Rob’s beautiful wedding in Leicester, England. For the majority of the day we document the events candidly but we like to spend around 20 minutes with our couples capturing some epic portraits without taking them away from their friends and family for too long.
During our portrait session with Hannah and Rob we stumbled across this hopscotch court and instantly knew the image we wanted to capture here. I love how it portrays their easy going, fun nature and it was well worth almost having a kick to the head to capture the moment.

Today we were with a beautiful couple in a park nearby city centre of Turku (Finland). And also in 19th century restaurant surroundings were wedding ceremony and party were held. This image was taken on a stage in front of a restaurant which is more than hundred years old. This scene is from their eternally lasting play.

During trash the dress session in Venice it started to rain. Under an umbrella grooms they stood over a bridge while passers crossed it from one side to the other.

This amazing couple from Norway chose the sunny old fishing village of Cascais for their wedding day. As the wedding venue was very close of the #casadashistorias home to the art work of Paula Rego, a Portuguese visual artist who is particularly well known for her paintings and prints based on storybooks. I had predicted taking them there for some pictures near the pyramid-shaped towers which are very characteristic of this gallery made by the well-known Portuguese architect Eduardo Souto Moura. I had studied the specific spots I would want to use, and the colors contrasted I was seeking, but was pleasantly surprised by the perfect and unexpected blend of shadow and light at that time of the day, I tried to use them in favor of the picture...

Kayla and Andrew picked an incredible location for portraits, Black Balsam Knobb Mountain in Asheville, North Carolina. We had such a wonderful time hiking to the top of the mountain. It was an overcast day with flat lighting but I spotted light in the clouds and juxtaposed the couple in front of that so they would really stand out in the image.

It was soooooo freezing and windy day. We went to local mountain, yes a true mountain with 30metres height :) We shot classical portraits and groups shots with bridesmaids and groomsmen. When we had to leave to church for the ceremony, I spotted this hill of mountain and asked couple to stay there. First they posed like a normal wedding couple but it didn´t seemed to be so special so I asked to pose so that they will look different sides. Then it just was something I´d liked to get and we nailed the shot. Thanks for so beautiful and nice couple, Iitu & Jaki!

Emma and Josh traveled from New York to Finland to get married, to Emma's hometown Salo. We hade awesome time to shoot portraits in different places. Scouted the location day before the wedding.

This photograph is taken at the Church of Candelario, Salamanca, Spain. A wonderful light coming through the rose window, the bride alone, kneeling in that light gave us a very special photograph. I have a special affection for this picture.

Stijn and Willemijn got married on a sunny day in August. Their wedding day was exactly 6 years after the day they first met each other. They had an outdoor ceremony at the beautiful castle Engelenburg in Brummen, which is surrounded by some magical old trees.

Our bride Hollie, nervous as all brides are, on her way to meet her groom Phil. Family and friends also waiting for the bride's entrance. She was so beautiful!
Their destination wedding took place in Cascais, Portugal. This photograph is all about the path to a new life, full of love.

Light, that is what I like in this picture most. Up to this point we had quite a long walk through the city streets. Looking for cityscapes, patio, etc. In the end, we came upon a Park, and there was a terrific light. It was magical, the smoke enveloped the newlyweds as if they were under water.

I can’t think of a single bride on earth who wouldn’t get a little nervous in prospect of a rainy day wedding. But who said rainy day weddings photographs can’t be just as intense as the idyllic blue skies shots? Passion doesn't fear bad weather, nor does creativity.
As the ceremony ended, the skies above the Leman Lake (or Lake Geneva, Switzerland) started to get darker and darker, until it literally started pouring with rain. I could see the disappointment on the bride and groom’s faces. But their love, their happiness and the infinite beauty of that day were way above the quirks of nature.
As the rain calmed down, the panorama revealed its magic. The skies were as dramatic and the couple’s look at each other. The clouds were as soft and ruffled as the bride’s dress when she held it above the floor. The lake and the mountains were as mysterious and intense as the million feelings that seemed to run through the bride and groom’s bodies and souls.
Soulmates. That’s all I can think of.

Carina and Andres traveled from Venezuela to have their dream wedding in the heart of the Caribbean, the beautiful Dominican Republic.
This photo was taken two days after the ceremony, the location chosen was the breathtaking Dye Fore golf course, that plays along the cliff above the Chavon River.
This specific shot was especially hard to get because of the distance between us, it made it almost impossible for me to guide the couple; fortunately they were very focused and naturally at ease, the result was this wonderful picture.
The flowing dress up the stone stairs,in perfect harmony with the surroundings, revealed the love of this beautiful bride to her groom.

This photograph is taken in Trampal Lagoons, in the Sierra de Candelario, Salamanca. To get there we had to make a route of about twelve kilometers back and forth with a cumulative total of 1550 meters altitude. The pussycat bound is 1850 meters and the maximum is 2400 meters. Loaded with all the photographic equipment and costumes of the newly married couple. The site, in the mountains, it is worth, is impressive. The photographs do here because the groom to the bride marriage asked in this same place.
