As a photographer you're always searching for other ways to capture usual situations in an unusual way. One way is to let yourself bomb with high heels :)

After scouting the place (which happened to be a very historic hotel in San Antonio, TX) for the ideal location to do a first look, I cam across this amazing library full of rich, warm tones. This wonderful couple brought it all to life.

Grandfather with granddaughter at G&K's wedding in the Netherlands. After the newlyweds marriage, they would embark on a journey to Canada (to live there). One can just imagine the emotions, both joyous and sorrowful, of guests bidding their farewells. There was so much love; definitely one of my favorite weddings ever!

This image was made at the Red Lion and Manor in Burnsall in the Yorkshire Dales. Gillian and James were so super lovely and chilled and we took a stroll over this bridge for them to gather their thoughts and reflect on the day so far. This was my second ever wedding.

This was my first wedding for this season. Clara & Luca had a perfectly choreographed first dance and there was a lot of excitement when Luca scooped Clara up for the big finale. I love that you can see the guests faces and reaction and Clara's enjoyment.

This is the moment. The moment right before you kiss the person you just promised your entire world to for always. The moment you look into your best friend's eyes and know that this is the first of many amazing memories in your lifetime together. Lena and Matt showed the world that in this moment, they have truly found their soulmates in each other.

Nikita and Niyam's wedding was one of those gorgeous colorful Indian wedding full of vibrance and back to back celebration. We managed to get a quick moment in between the group shots just before heading to their cocktail party.

I have visited Castle Howard since I was little and was insanely excited to be asked to photograph Nicola & Greg's wedding there last year. Despite what they grey sky might suggest it was the middle of July! The weather was not on our side for most of the day but we managed a quick 10 minute wander outside before the rain started up and I captured this shot of the two of them enjoying a quiet (if a little breezy!) moment in the grounds before heading in to eat.

I love this moment between Bekky and her bridesmaids. They were all so blown away the first time they saw Bekky in her dress and you can tell by their reaction! These unscripted, natural moments are the best!

We photographed this beautiful couple in the streets of the town Deventer, The Netherlands. No cars were allowed in these small streets, so it was safe to lie down on it and take this shot. The historical setting makes it a romantic and timeless picture.

This was a crazy group of very close friends who were extremely excited about the night and their cigars. However; much like all attendees at weddings, it took some entertaining to get most of them to pay attention. Especially towards the end of the night. By using a red key light we not only created an amazing photo, the guys were curious to see what we were up to. We love vibrant colors and this is a new way we were able to incorporate it into our photos.

It is said 'the best photos are often captured without planning' and this is one of them. I had already covered the wedding ceremony at the church and had to drive 2 hours (of what was meant to be a 45 min journey) to the reception venue due to heavy traffic. It was a beautiful day and it felt like it was the only nice day of the whole winter. Luckily, I arrived at the venue at the same time as Mark and Jenny (our couple in the photo). The golden hour was gone and we did not want to miss what was left of the beautiful orange sky. So we decided to make a run for it. I grabbed my Nikon D750 and a Cactus Speedlight and transceiver and ran to where this photo was taken. I had to hook the Speedlight on a branch to get the light just where I wanted and this is the result.

And this photo was taken in Munich. As now I remember how the guards drove us from this ladder. But I managed to remove a couple of frames. Thank you guys for taking part in this action together.

It was the idea of the bride and groom to do shoots in the metro underground as its part of their Montreal daily life.

So we set the scene where I was on the other side of the platform and I suggested that they reenact a fallout, and voila! I suggested they keep a distance apart for composition and it would portray the body posing clearer. They were naturals :) and they love improvising.
All smiles at the end!

This photo was taken by 85mm Photography on the Observation Deck of the Guthrie Theater in downtown Minneapolis. The Guthrie Theater is a very popular photo location for couples on their wedding day. While most photographers shoot the opposite direction and capture the Mississippi River and Saint Anthony Main area in the background, we decided to give this shot our own twist. The Guthrie Theater is an architectural masterpiece, so we wanted to capture some of the dynamic lines, shadows, and reflections the building produces. Utilizing the rich blue windows behind the couple, we were still able to capture the Stone Arch Bridge and Saint Anthony Main area in the photo. Many more shots from this wedding are visible on our website.
This church organ is very unique. Especially for this groom. He plays the church organ and the brother of this bride plays THIS church organ. Normally it is not allowed to take pictures in this church, so I was so excited to hear that we had permission. I love all the detail in this photo.

I love the church because it was raining all day. The darkness of the church with the only light from a chandelier made this photo special.

This shot was taken in the last few minutes of sunset. This shot was taken with a two flash set up. I backlit the bride and groom using an off camera flash and placed a second flash with a Magmod on it 50 feet away camera left pointing at the couple. I love how it turned out softly illuminating my couple.
This photo I took at the wedding banquet. It was very difficult to persuade some of the people to agree to lie down. But everyone agreed and gave me a chance to make this photo.
