The "Caumasee" in Flims Switzerland is in the middle of the mountains and a very beautiful place for a wedding. My couple chose the 1st of August to get married, which is the swiss national day. The weather was a bit grey but dry, it didn't matter to the both of them. They were the happies couple you can imagine and a ton of fun to work with. Funny enough by totally coincidence they booked they honeymoon at exactly the time me and my partner did - so I met them again in beautiful Bali for a honeymoon shooting on the beach.
Beautiful couple i front of the Capitol, Washington D.C.
It was a rainy day, but both of them were happy and excited because it was their big DAY
Claudia and Enrico got married in the ancient Spoleto Cathedral. When their ceremony was over and all the people gone to the venue for the party, heavy threatening clouds gathered and all the tourists left the square before the thunderstorm. This was an amazing (and rare) solitary condition I used with this couple.
Love is the bridge between two hearts, Two hearts that joined together in friendship and united forever in love.

This was my last shot of the night. We were standing on the end of the pier. I used a one light setup to properly illuminate the couple without blowing out the gorgeous blue sky behind them. By using a telephoto lens, I was able to stay far enough away from the couple to capture this beautiful moment amongst many others. Published in 2017-18 Florida Keys Weddings Magazine.

Steffi's dad surprised his daughter with this lovely black VW Beetle at her wedding and so we looked for a perfect place to shoot with the car. Not far from the WeddingParty we've founded this field with a view while the sun went slowly down. This moment was stunning and Steffi enjoyed every single second of it.
No more words needed.
This was a post wedding shoot taken in Spain at the famous Canales de Padules. The bride had seen it featured on a music video of David Bisbal who she was a fan of and fell in love with the dramatic backdrops. When I asked for her location she did not hesitate in naming this place! I was blown away with its beauty and we had a blast shooting there. One of the things I have learnt as a wedding photographer is 'always listen to your bride and groom's ideas'. You can guarantee they will know the surrounding areas of their wedding venue and I wouldn't have found this location if it wasn't for the groom. That was one piece of the puzzle, then the lighting and composition and finally editing. I can't thank Melina and Ed enough for this opportunity, it was actually raining on and off but they persevered through it all and it really paid off.
Gosia and Conrad wanted to do a lot of their couple shots around London, with an extensive list of location, this was just not possible between the ceremony and dinner.. so instead of wanting to cut their locations, they decide to get dressed up again and go around for their couple shots. A perfect couple and great fun to work with! Especially for a 4am sunrise 2nd day!
Weddings with children are always so much fun! Especially when the kid of the bride&groom (who is also the bridesmaid) is totally in love with her Mickey Mouse and carries him all around. She was so enthusiastic because there was a lovely lunch at the end of the street... it made her run!
It was not the only kid starring the day, because her little brother Max was inside her mothers belly, enjoying the day.
Thanks to this beautifull kid, and off course, Mickey Mouse :)

Like it or not the mother of the bride is a vital element to the wedding day. After seeing Laura's mum using a crochet needle to button the back of Laura's dress I always advise the brides to use one now.
As the mother of the bride finished fastening the maid of honor helped to finish, I wanted to get them both helping, with the dress details and this is the shot I got. Really happy with the outcome.
This was taken during my first wedding of 2017 at Froyle Park in Hampshire in the UK. It was taken using a Canon 5D mkiv with a Sigma 24-35mm f2.0 zoom (at 24mm). It wasn't quite as dark as it appears in the photo, the ambient was underexposed by about a stop and a half to bring out the colours in the dusky sky. The couple were then illuminated with a Canon 600ex-rt flash which was mounted on a light stand hidden behind the the front right hand pillar of the pagoda. The flash was fitted with a Lastolite Micro Apollo to soften the light a little.

OK so I was onto a winner with this wedding anyway, but even still I didn’t know I was going to have so much fun. From start to finish the couple were smiling their heads off throughout, there was so many guests waiting to congratulate them everywhere they turned, which to me shows how much people love them. They returned the love by throwing what was an incredible party reception. The emotions were high throughout the day and perhaps it was Mr Matthews that demonstrated it the most, but he soon fixed up when the registrar called him a wife.
'Enjoy every minute as it’s soon gone before you know it! As cliché as it sounds, I can truly say it was the happiest day of my life and I would do it all again if I could.'
After an incredible wedding day, this was the very last shot Charles and Marisa. It was taken in the middle of Millennium Bridge in London!
Sunset time, on a hill.
The world of two people who are brilliant with a sunset.
The heart of two people.
Beautiful.
Thank you!!

This photo was taken in on a beautiful day in St Pete Florida at the museum of fine arts.
Shot in the beautiful high lands of San José de Ocoa, Dominican Republic. Genesis and Cesar made it easy for me.
The funny thing is we almost cancelled the shoot because it was a rainy day. But with a positive we set of mind we took the risk, and as you can see, it paid off.
First time winning the award! Thanks!
This photo was captured right after the party ended. Being the star of the night, we decided to create a scene for the bride and groom so that they were surrounded by many of the guests at the main door. It's really exciting for the bridal party to participate in this photo.
This photograph wasn't planned , it was taken while the bride was getting ready in a hurry cause she was running late for her ceremony and was taken in a split second with just a bare bulb for light ! This bridal portrait to me represents the quintessential modern Indian bride, as she isn't looking downward or being demure as expected of the brides here , here she looks independent, confident, and unapologetically bold.
The natural beauty of the Florida Keys speaks for itself as the ultimate backdrop. Ashley and Josh's wedding day was a day in paradise at the gorgeous location of Key Largo Lighthouse Beach.
This photo was taken in Russia, in the house where once lived the bride.
At this moment the grandmother saw her granddaughter in her wedding dress and could not keep the tears of happiness.
It was hard to beleive it was the middle of June in Malta. Usually a scorcher of a day was expected but that day it lashed rain, full on storm. That's the weather for you - unpredicatable!
That day was the day of Gillian & Barry's wedding. An Irish couple who decided to get married in Malta fully expecting a wonderful sunny day. The weather didnt faze Gillian in the slightest, her genuine excitement so evident on her face. I absolutely love this image of Gillian making her way into the Mdina Cathedral, rain pouring, the girls making sure she doesnt get wet and the sheer emotion on her face.
This was taken during Laura & Rory's wedding at the stunning Rookery Hall in Cheshire, UK. One of the bride's best friends clearly doesn't hold back when giving out hugs! :-)
As soon as the ceremony ended I ran to the lowest steps of the church ladder. While waiting for the couple to arrive I grabbed the camera with a wide angle lens.
It was somewhat difficult to grab focus because it was really dark. Most of the shots came were out of focus. But trying until the last second was worth it: this was the second from the last shot that I took!

Paul and Catherine are the couple from Odessa. Bride is very gentle and devoted woman. Groom is purposeful and courageous, likes to travel. When a young sailor met the love of his life - he has a new dream - to show his Catherine the most beautiful places of our planet! Immediately after the wedding the couple went on a long journey. Ahead they have a lot of goals and victories, which they will carry out together!
Shot near beach in Mangalore, Karnataka,India. Dramatic Cotton clouds with awesome location gave a perfect background which i was looking for. Crazy friends of bride & groom Daphne & Denis created the mood of this image.
A fab couple that were up for anything I asked of them. The picture was really simple, with a speed light behind them and shot through some fairy lights to add a little sprinkle of loveliness!
