On stage of the musical De Marathon, a populair Dutch musical, with the lighting of the musical, a special gift of the theatre. This couple is a huge fan of De Marathon, so this was right up their alley.
They call it the circle of love, this beautiful flower arrangement in a circle. Add a stunning bride and groom and an amazing venue and you have this picture.
This is probably the turning point from civilised guests into an EPIC party!!! Rachel and Charlie had a super amazing wedding with a few 'dentists chair' moments.....
Hugely proud to accept another award from Wedisson.
Kirsten & Tim had such a fantastic wedding in the hills of Derbyshire. It was incredibly relaxed, and the sun shone all day making for a fabulous set of pictures as it dropped over the horizon. This picture is just one of many, but ultimately one that portrays everything around that moment, just them, being themselves on their wedding day.
Starlight photos are so romantic. I offer these mini sessions independently or during the last hour of a wedding. They tend to be their favorite shots of the day. These images look incredibly beautiful printed on backlit acrylic wall displays.
This photo was taken on the Montenegrin mountain range in the Carpathians. The newlyweds had to overcome a difficult tourist route and spend the night in a tent. Bad weather the day before had overtaken us on Lake Brebeneskul. For this photo we went down the mountain stream and found a very picturesque place. The bridegroom Eugene and the bride Renata will long remember these adventures!
A kiss is a kiss, but with this couple I wanted a splendid kiss full of passion. And so they did and gave me this picture to shoot. Love it!
The last image of the night for Hardeep and Alex's amazing barn wedding. The moon and stars were out to play so I couldn't resist taking this image.
The videographer asked the girls to throw the boquet in the air. What followed was a scramble to catch the boquets a pesky heel getting caught up in the dress and a slow mo fall to the ground. They all had a good giggle about it afterwards. No bridesmaids were harmed in the taking of this photo.
When the sun is out you just have to use it. Sometimes it's about working with backlight, sometimes hard front light. It's in these conditions that it's easy to forget about keeping the couple in the moment, but the main never left these two.
Congratulation Matt & Sarah!
Because little girls dream...

Photo taken near Lake Brebeneskul. This is the highest mountain lake in Ukraine, it is at an altitude of 1801m above sea level! The crew together with the newlyweds made a difficult journey along the complex tourist route. We managed to take a few photos and the weather deteriorated. There was heavy rain and wind. The bridegroom Aleksander and Renata's bride spent the night in a tent with tourists to continue shooting the next day. It was an incredible adventure!
The moment we reached this location - a dried up river bed previous day evening of the shoot..we fell in love with the beauty of the gentleness of the nature here. Completely surrounded by green moss and fog it looked ethereal .We excitedly started clicking pictures with the jeep ..after a few shots we thought of moving to a different location . And to our shock ..the jeep struck in the mud.Even after several attempts to push it ..it didn't budge an inch. So we left the jeep there overnight. You can still see the damp mud on the tyres in the picture. We reached the location again in the wee hours of next day early morning to try moving the jeep ...but was pleasantly surprised of the sight we saw. It was just perfect. Was so happy and satisfied to get this shot of this adorable couple Rikith and Anagha. Sometimes nature surprises us .Realised its always good to re visit certain locations . We never know what sights await us.
After being afraid of a rainy weddingday for weeks, we got one of the most beautiful days this summer. Excited as we were we went all out and jumped into this beautiful cornfield that was practically in their backyard! This is probably my favourite picture of their wedding day, everything come together.. and look at that beautiful veil! They were beautiful.
I had the idea for this shot earlier in the day but at the time it was raining. Luckily this cleared around sunset which allowed me to to get this image. Shot using one flash to camera left using the MagBeam fully extended.
Light, composition and a good subject are obviously the three main elements that make for a pleasing image. However, it's not always possible to control all three on all parts of a wedding day. When you get the opportunity to, something magical happens.
This photo was taken using only the street lamp to illuminate the couple. I wanted a dramatic and cinematographic feel to the image so most of this was available light. One flash was used underneath the stairs to add some depth into the image.
This image was taken at the Olympic Park in London. This is one of the rare space untainted by buildings and the busy London life.
